Abstract(s)
A sobrevivência das organizações, independentemente do sector de atividade em que se inserem, é condicionada pela capacidade de combinar o conhecimento atualizado e de o incorporar nos serviços/produtos que colocam no mercado. Deste modo, significa que investir numa empresa passa primeiro por investir e despender tempo na formação dos seus trabalhadores. Assim sendo, este estudo visa compreender as Políticas e Práticas de Formação de uma Empresa no Contexto da Indústria Automóvel.
Importa compreender o envolvimento da empresa em estudo com as práticas de formação e a importância que lhes atribui. A presente dissertação parte do objetivo de compreender que políticas e práticas de formação é que são adotadas e se dão enfase à articulação entre a estratégia de negócio e a estratégia da formação.
A fim de encontrar respostas ao objetivo do estudo, procurou-se caracterizar os recursos humanos da empresa, ou seja, compreender quantos trabalhadores tem, como se distribuem em termos etários, de sexo e de habilitações académicas, entre outros aspetos essências para ficar a conhecer a composição da empresa. Outro dos objetivos passou pela compreensão da estruturação e implementação do processo formativo, ou seja, pelo conhecimento do processo de diagnóstico de necessidades de formação realizado na empresa, pela análise da relação entre objetivos da política de formação e a estratégia da empresa, e ainda pela caracterização das ações de formação realizadas. Outro objetivo fundamentalqueinfluenciaemmuitoaspolíticas deformaçãodequalquerempresa,passa pelo modo de financiamento e, por fim, entender como é concebido todo o processo de avaliação da formação.
Para a concretização destes objetivos realizamos um estudo de caso através do qual procedemos a uma exploração e descrição dos fenómenos, de forma a compreender e interpretar o fenómeno no seu meio natural.
Da análise dos resultados foi possível verificar que a empresa em estudo tem vindo a levar a cabo um forte investimento em novas tecnologias, que estão cada vez mais presentes no mundo empresarial. Face a esse investimento a empresa tem vindo a investir no desenvolvimento dos seus recursos humanos através da formação dos seus trabalhadores, com o objetivo de se manter competitiva. Assim sendo, a Hanon tem desenvolvido a sua política de formação seguindo as etapas previstas no ciclo da formação, preocupando-se com a relação entre a estratégia do negócio e da própria formação. Os resultados obtidos evidenciam o interesse em manter uma política de formação fortemente articulada com o core business da empresa. Constatamos também a existência de uma estrutura de suporte à formação, sendo esta, segundo alguns autores, uma condição base para o comprometimento com a formação e de suporte à execução da formação.
Organizations' survival, regardless of their activity sector is conditioned by the ability to combine updated knowledgeand incorporate it into the services or productsthat are placed on the market. This would mean that investing in a company, in the first place, involves investing and spending time in training employees who perform functions within them. Therefore, this study aims to understand the Training Policies and Practices of a Company in the Automotive Industry context. It is important to understand the involvement of the company under study with its training practices and the value these bring to discussion. The present thesis rises from the idea of understanding which policies and practices are used and whether they emphasize the involvement of the business strategy with the developed training strategy. In order to find answers to this question, the study looked to signalize the company's human resources sociographically and consequently to understand how many workers it has, in how many departments is it divided, among other considered essential aspects to get to know the company’s structure. Other goals include understanding the training processes’s design and implementation - to delve deep in the above mentioned analysis the need to diagnose the process carried out in the company revealed to be very high, highlighting also the verification of whether the objectives of the training policy sought to be aligned with the company's strategy; The study will also pass through the characterization of training actions, whether these were of a technical or behavioral nature; Another fundamental objective that greatly influences the training policies of any company, involves understanding whether or not it is financed and finally understanding how the entire training evaluation process is designed. This thesis shall be a case study of qualitative research, therefore there is an exploration and description of the phenomena, in order to understand and interpret the phenomenon in its natural environment. Hence, a semi-structured scripted interview was conducted with the person responsible for the training area of the company und er study. In addition to the interview, another data collection technique used was documentary analysis of various records and evidence of the training carried out. From the analysis of the results it was possible to verify that the company under study has been making a strong investment in new technologies, which are increasingly most present in the business world. In view of this investment, the company has been investing in the development of its human resources through the training of its workers, in order to remain competitive. Therefore, Hanon has developed its training policy following the steps foreseen in the training cycle, worrying about the relationship between the business strategy and the training itself. The results obtained show the interest in maintaining a training policy strongly articulated with the company's core business. We also found the existence of a support structure for training, which, according to some authors, is a basic condition for commitment to training and support for the execution of training.
