Victims of aggression, crime and violence are increasingly a concern for society worldwide. In the context of emergencies, it is extremely important to have nurses trained to act in the presence of people in critical situations who are victims of violence, through the implementation of specialized interventions in the preservation and collection of forensic evidence. The interest in the topic worked on arises within the scope of clinical practice in the multipurpose emergency service, where the reported cases have an important impact, with improvements being made in the care provided to people in critical situations who are victims of aggression. In this sense, with the aim of accessing the most recent scientific evidence on the subject, a scoping review was carried out, in accordance with the methodology proposed by Arksey and O’Malley, entitled: Interventions of the Specialist Nurse in the Collection and Preservation of Forensic Evidence in the Context of Emergency. This report aims to be a critical and reflective exercise regarding the path developed throughout the training process, allowing the acquisition and development of technical and scientific skills inherent to the master's degree and specialist in Medical-Surgical Nursing in the area of nursing for People in Critical Situations, in the contexts of internships carried out in a Multipurpose Intensive Care Unit, in a Specific Intensive Care Unit of a Central Hospital and in the Emergency and Resuscitation Medical Vehicle. Regarding the conceptual orientation of nursing thought, this is based on Ada Rogers' Conceptual Model of Human Vulnerability and Patricia Benner's Nursing Skills Development Model from Beginner to Expert. The path taken was supported by the Regulations of Common Competencies of the Specialist Nurse, Specific Competencies of the Specialist Nurse in Nursing for People in Critical Situations, Regulation of Quality Standards for Specialized Nursing Care in Nursing for People in Critical Situations and the Dublin descriptors fundamental to the award of the Master's Degree in Nursing for the qualification of the second training cycle.
