Abstract(s)
A gestão do conhecimento é uma área que tem sido bastante desenvolvida ao longo das
últimas décadas. Devido a uma acelerada mudança nos processos das organizações
acompanhado de uma evolução da tecnologia, verifica-se um aumento de informação a
todos os níveis e, consequentemente, do conhecimento que desta pode ser extraído,
levando a que as organizações necessitem de evoluir, aprofundando as oportunidades
daí resultantes com a finalidade de garantirem a sua vantagem competitiva.
O presente trabalho de investigação, realizado no âmbito da Gestão de Conhecimento,
e intitulado “Análise do modelo de Gestão do Conhecimento para a Autoridade
Marítima Nacional”, tem como principal objetivo analisar o atual modelo de Gestão do
Conhecimento implementado na Autoridade Marítima Nacional, contribuindo de uma
forma ativa para o melhoramento do mesmo através da exposição de mecanismos de
Gestão do Conhecimento que, interligados com o esclarecimento das dificuldades
sentidas pelos colaboradores, possam colmatar pontos sensíveis da organização
permitindo alcançar a vantagem competitiva.
A investigação foi feita no âmbito da investigação aplicada utilizando o método
dedutivo, tendo sido efetuada pesquisa em estudos previamente realizados, legislação
e doutrina já implementada em organizações com características semelhantes.
Recorreu-se ainda a um inquérito com a finalidade de analisar o estado atual da gestão
de conhecimento na organização.
Com a elaboração da presente dissertação de mestrado, conclui-se que apesar de não
existir um modelo de Gestão de Conhecimento implementado, ou seja, formalizado, a
organização faz uso de alguns mecanismos que facilitam o processo da gestão de
conhecimento. Verificou-se ainda que os colaboradores estão despertos para a
importância dessa formalização e implementação na organização
The knowledge management is an area that has been greatly developed over the past few decades. Due to a fast change of the processes in organizations accompanied by developments in technologies, it is observed an increase of information at every level and, consequently, of the knowledge that can be extracted, which leads to organizations having to evolve deepening the resulting opportunities, in order to ensure their competitive advantage. The present study work in the field of Knowledge Management and entitled “Analysis of the Knowledge Management model for the National Maritime Authority” has the main objective to analyze the current Knowledge Management model implemented in the National Maritime Authority (Portugal), contributing in an active way for the improvement of the same through the exposure of knowledge management mechanisms that interconnected with the clarification of the difficulties experienced by the employees can bridge sensitive points of the organization allowing to achieve the competitive advantage. The study was carried out in the scope of applied research using the deductive method. The research was carried out in studies previously conducted, legislation and doctrine already implemented in organizations, and with and a survey with the purpose of analise the current state of Knowledge Management in the organization. With the elaboration of this master´s thesis, it is concluded that although there is no knowledge management model implemented, the organization makes use of some mechanisms that essentially facilitate the process of knowledge management. It was also verified that employees are aware of the importance of formalizing and implementing the topic in the organization.
