Abstract(s)
trabalho.
Psychosocial risk factors are considered among the significant risks in the workplace. Although occupational health and safety best practices continue to evolve, workplace accidents and health problems continue to be a major problem for management and employees (Bac & Ekmekci, 2021). This dissertation was carried out to obtain a master's degree in safety and hygiene at work from the Polytechnic Institute of Setúbal and its main objective is to study professional risks and their consequences. the burnout and exit intention variables. A COPSOQ questionnaire was used in which questions related to burnout (OLBI) and exit intention (exit intention scale) were also inserted. This questionnaire was posted on the Google Forms platform to make it easier to reach Senior Occupational Health and Safety Technicians. 35 responses were obtained, with the majority of people who responded to the questionnaire being female and working in the secondary sector, also most of the people who responded to the questionnaire have been working in the area for a short time, which can also influence the results. The results obtained demonstrate that psychosocial risks are associated with both burnout and intention to leave, and the psychosocial risks that are associated with each of them are demonstrated. It is demonstrated in this study that burnout has a significant positive relationship with workers' intention to leave. At the end of this study, suggestions for improvements are presented in view of the limitations that were found throughout this work.
