| dc.description.abstract | Resumo Esta investigação partiu de uma reflexão sobre a importância para a gestão da personalidade, das competências e da cultura. Na tentativa de perceber no concreto da vida empresarial portuguesa como a personalidade, as competências e a cultura podem afectar a prática da gestão, fizeram-se entrevistas a gestores de topo de empresas multinacionais e internacionais que operam em Portugal, tendo-se realizado trinta e duas entrevistas. Pretende-se com esta investigação a partir do sucesso ou dificuldades evidenciadas nas entrevistas realizadas, retirar conclusões de como a personalidade, as competências e a cultura afectam os papéis desempenhados por um gestor. Os dados obtidos poderão ainda contribuir modestamente para uma reflexão dos gestores em actividade e também para um esclarecimento da geração futura de gestores no nosso país. | pt_PT |
| dc.description.abstract | Abstract This research began with a reflection on the importance for the management of personality, skills and culture. In an attempt to realize in concrete the Portuguese business life as personality, skills and culture may affect the practice of management, there have been interviews with top managers of multinational and international companies operating in Portugal, having done thirty two interviews. The aim of this research from the success or difficulties highlighted in the interviews, draw conclusions about how the personality, skills and culture affect the roles played by a manager. The results may also contribute modestly to reflect the activity managers and also for a clarification of the future generation of managers in our country. | pt_PT |
