O presente estudo aborda a temática referente à perceção do risco na construção civil, nomeadamente na empresa XPTOT. Pretende-se analisar de que forma as chefias directas e encarregados dos sectores que abarcam os assistentes operacionais percepcionam as questões associadas à perceção dos riscos profissionais.
Este trabalho pretende perceber de que forma as chefias, com papel de coordenação dos assistentes operacionais, vêm as questões ligadas à percepção dos riscos na organização e de que forma influenciam nos comportamentos, e na promoção da qualidade do trabalho e consequente nos procedimentos adequados dos trabalhadores.
Tratou-se de um estudo exploratório inserido numa abordagem quantitativa. Foi utilizado como metodologia um questionário de perguntas fechadas, baseado num estudo de caso.
Os participantes foram indivíduos da categoria profissional dos técnicos superiores – engenheiros com função de coordenação e da categoria profissional dos encarregados operacionais, da carreira profissional dos assistentes operacionais de uma organização privada. Constituiu-se assim uma amostra de conveniência de 50 indivíduos.
De acordo com os dados obtidos sugere-se que esta organização se envolva mais na promoção da segurança no trabalho dos seus trabalhadores, melhorando as condições organizacionais, físicas e humanas, assim como investindo na formação e prevenção de acidentes implicando os trabalhadores nas estratégias utilizadas.
Abstract:The present study deals with the climate of security in a local autarchy. It intends to analyze in which way the line managers and people in charge of the operational assistants deal with the issues realated to the security climate. This work intends to perceive how the managers, with roles of coordination of the operational assistants, deal with questions related to the security climate in the organization and how this affects the behaviors, the promotion of work quality and consequently the adequate procedures of the workers. The study had a quantitative approach by distributing a closed questionnaire based in a case study. The participants belonged to the class of senior technicians - engineers with roles of coordination, operational workers and operational assistants, in a public organization, local autarchy. In total, 50 individuals participated in the present study. Based on the data obtained, it is strongly suggested that the public organizations increase their involvement in the promotion of work security. Consequently this will improve the physical and human conditions in the organizations as well as it will be seen as an investment in the education and prevention of work accidents.
