Enfermagem perioperatória em cirurgia ambulatória no contexto de unidade local de saúde

A proposição em estudo neste relatório “Enfermagem Perioperatória em Cirurgia de Ambulatório no contexto de Unidade Local de Saúde”, apresenta-se inserida no I Mestrado de Enfermagem Médico-Cirúrgica na área de enfermagem à pessoa em situação perioperatória da Escola Superior de Saúde de Santa Maria, em parceria com a Escola Superior de Enfermagem São José de Cluny. O tema escolhido para desenvolver ao longo deste relatório encontra-se diretamente relacionado com as experiências mais recentes, recolhidas no âmbito do ensino clínico realizado em cirurgia ambulatória.
O objetivo geral deste trabalho passa por descrever a prestação de cuidados de enfermagem no perioperatório de cirurgia ambulatória, em contexto de uma unidade local de saúde e como objetivos específicos identificar a organização geral das unidades de cirurgia ambulatória; caraterizar o local de ensino clínico; realizar uma revisão do estado de arte da literatura acerca do aparecimento e funcionamento do modelo das unidades locais de saúde em Portugal; explicar a aplicação das teorias de enfermagem de Meleis e Orem à prestação de cuidados de enfermagem em cirurgia ambulatória; evidenciar o desenvolvimento pessoal de competências comuns de enfermeiro especialista e específicas do enfermeiro especialista em enfermagem médico-cirúrgica na área de enfermagem à pessoa em situação perioperatória; e, demonstrar a aquisição de competências de mestre.
A metodologia utilizada foi descritiva/reflexiva, em conformidade com o pensamento crítico adquirido ao longo do percurso profissional e académico. A pesquisa bibliográfica foi realizada em obras literárias, guidelines internacionais, documentos legais, associativos e artigos científicos provenientes de bases de dados eletrónicas.
Os resultados obtidos permitiram-me aprofundar conhecimentos acerca da proposição em estudo e demonstrar o desenvolvimento das competências correspondentes ao segundo ciclo de estudos e ao grau de enfermeiro especialista da área supracitada.
Por conseguinte, concluo este mestrado com uma prática de cuidados perioperatórios melhorada, segura, competente e baseada na melhor evidência científica.
The proposal under study in this report, "Perioperative Nursing in Ambulatory Surgery in the context of a Local Health Unit", is part of the 1st master’s degree in surgical medical nursing specialized in nursing to the person in a perioperative situation at Escola Superior de Saúde de Santa Maria, in partnership with Escola Superior de Enfermagem São José de Cluny. The topic chosen for this report is directly related to the most recent experiences gathered during clinical teaching in outpatient surgery. The main goal of this work is to describe the provision of nursing care in the perioperative period of outpatient surgery, in the context of a local health unit. The specific objectives are to identify the general organization of outpatient surgery units; to characterize the clinical teaching site; to carry out a state-of-the-art review of the literature on the emergence and operating of the local health unit model in Portugal; explain the application of Meleis' and Orem's nursing theories to provide nursing care in outpatient surgery; show the personal development of the common competences of specialized nurses and the specific competences of specialist nurse in a surgical medical nursing to the person in a perioperative situation; and demonstrate the acquirement of master's competences. The methodology used was descriptive/reflective, in accordance with the critical thinking acquired during my professional and academic career. The research was carried out in literary works, international guidelines, legal documents, associations, and scientific articles from electronic databases. The results allowed me to deepen my knowledge of the proposition under study and demonstrate the development of the competences corresponding to the second cycle of studies and the degree of nurse specializing in the area. Therefore, I am ending this master's with an improved perioperative care practice that is safe, competent, and based on scientific evidence.
