Abstract(s)
adaptados a diferentes situações.
No
Parenting is the caregiving process that involves promoting the development of the child/youth, requiring the acquisition of knowledge to ensure their survival and growth. This phase involves changes that demand adaptations in biopsychosocial dimensions and may be influenced by factors such as stress and anxiety,. This process is influenced since birh by stimuli and interaction with parents/family. Difficulties in self-regulation can lead to mental and behavioral health issues in children/youth, which may manifest during adolescence and adulthood. Therefore, intervention in this area is crucial in child and pediatric health. Through the promotion of parenting, parents/families play a fundamental role in shaping selfregulation behaviors through the strategies they adopt. The child/youth and familycentered care model emphasizes the involvement and participation of parents/families in promoting the development of self-regulation. The intervention of the Specialist Nurse in Child and Pediatric Health focuses on promoting health and preventing diseases in children/youth. I provided specialized care, adjusting strategies according to the child’s development and involving parents/family as essential partners in care. Resources were mobilized for complex situations, particularly in mental health, ensuring the quality of care provided. This project methodology supported by reflective practice was adopted, allowing for continuous learning evolution in various clinical teaching contexts. The main objective of this report is to describe and critically analyze the goals, activities, and results obtained, which enabled the acquisition of competencies as a master's degree holder, a specialist nurse, and a Specialist Nurse in Child and Pediatric Health Nursing.
