Abstract(s)
Um dos grandes desafios do ensino passa por garantir o
sucesso escolar da larga maioria dos alunos transmitindo
competências através de um ensino de qualidade. Contudo,
criar uma escola inclusiva que responda à heterogeneidade
de alunos, incluindo as necessidades educativas especiais, é
uma tarefa de difícil execução quando aplicado o mesmo
padrão curricular. Mas tendo em conta que o perfil de aluno
é composto por características únicas, fará sentido educar
utilizando os mesmos conteúdos programáticos? Ou fará
sentido adequá-los ao perfil de cada aluno de forma única?
Com base nestas questões, propõe-se a criação de uma
solução tecnológica com recurso a inteligência artificial que
se propõe a oferecer aos professores a possibilidade de criar
conteúdos programáticos personalizados para cada perfil de
aluno. Quanto mais completo e preciso for o descritivo do
perfil e quanto mais informação for reunida na plataforma,
mais próximo se poderá estar dos conteúdos que preencham
as necessidades de cada aluno.
Foi realizado um estudo com base num focus group de
professores do Agrupamento de Escolas Eça de Queirós,
com o objetivo de comprovar que o uso das tecnologias e
da inteligência artificial é um método indispensável para o
sucesso escolar. Este trabalho procura mostrar que a
educação personalizada poderá ajudar a construir um
sistema de ensino que ofereça oportunidades e
conhecimento para todos.
One of the major challenges in education revolves on ensuring academic success for most students by passing on competencies through high-quality teaching. Nevertheless, establishing an inclusive school system that supplies the heterogeneity of students, including those with special educational needs, proves to be an overwhelming task when applying a standardized educational program. Given that each student's profile is unique, does it make sense to educate them using the same educational content, or should we tailor it to each student's unique profile? Considering these questions, this thesis proposes the development of a technological solution employing artificial intelligence to empower teachers with the ability to create personalized course outlines for each student profile. The more comprehensive and precise the student profile description is and the more information gathered on the platform, the closer we come to identify the content that best meet student’s needs. A study was conducted based on a focus group of teachers from the Eça de Queirós School Group, with the aim of demonstrating that the use of technology and artificial intelligence is an indispensable method for academic success. Furthermore, this study aspires to demonstrate that personalized education has the potential to play a significant role in creating an inclusive educational system that provides opportunities and knowledge for everyone.
