Abstract(s)
A presente investigação qualitativa pretendeu identificar os fatores socioculturais que influenciam o aparecimento da violência de filhos para pais, numa faixa etária específica designada como adultez emergente. Foram recolhidos testemunhos de profissionais e investigadores privilegiados que têm conhecimento ou já tiveram contacto com este fenómeno, a par de uma revisão da literatura, concluindo-se que o principal fator sociocultural, que mais influencia a violência filioparental na idade adulta, é a dependência económica, assim como a educação e as experiências na infância.
The present qualitative investigation aimed to identify the socio-cultural factors that influence the appearance of violence from children to parents, in a specific age group designated as emerging adulthood. Testimonies were collected from privileged professionals and researchers who have knowledge or have had contact with this phenomenon, along with a literature review, concluding that the main socio-cultural factor, which most influences child-to-parent violence in adulthood, is economic dependence, as well as education and childhood experiences.
