Abstract(s)
Endodontic treatments are daily and complex procedures that require anatomical knowledge, precise preoperative analysis and adequate technical platform. Vital Pulp Therapy offers a bio-regenerative treatment option, which can be performed by general practitioners, providing predictable and comparable results in terms of success with endodontic treatments. It is advisable to preserve as much as possible the enamel and dentin structures when performing endodontic treatment in order to improve the prognosis of the treated tooth, without compromising the good treatment performance. Therefore, it seems important to try to balance the endodontic treatment needs linked to the triad of success in endodontics (disinfection, modeling and three-dimensional filling) declared by Schilder (1967 and 1974) and now accepted by all. The objective of this dissertation is to highlight the current possibility of reconciling endodontics quality acts with minimally invasive procedures. This paper will describe the various requirements related to endodontic modeling according to the clinical situation for maximum tissue economy as the regenerative endodontic treatment that provided a treatment option to allow root maturation.
