| dc.description.abstract | Pode afirmar-se que se assiste na contemporaneidade a uma grande instabilidade e incerteza, provenientes das alucinantes alterações do quotidiano, manifestando -se em todos os níveis da sociedade. Perante este clima de mudança, onde inevitavelmente a Instituição Militar também se insere, to rna-se fundamental perceber os desígnios das gerações vindouras para que se possa acompanhar a natural evolução. Deste modo, o presente Trabalho de Investigação Aplicada tem como principal objectivo caracterizar as Representações Sociais criadas pelos Jovens da Cidade de Viseu acerca do Regimento de Infantaria Nº14, sedeado na mesma Cidade. Ou seja, enquadrado no âmbito da Sociologia Militar, esta investigação irá privilegiar a problemática das Relações Civil-Militares, numa acepção mais restrita, reportando-se unicamente e exclusivamente à temática sobre o relacionamento entre os Jovens e o Regimento de Infantaria Nº14. Este trabalho divide-se em três partes fundamentais. Na primeira parte é efectuado todo o enquadramento teórico, onde são abordadas de forma mais abrangente as Relações Civil-Militares, com especial incidência no que ao público jovem dizem respeito. A segunda parte é preenchida pelas considerações de natureza metodológica tidas em conta nesta investigação. A terceira parte diz respeito à análise e discussão dos resultados obtidos no trabalho de campo, e às conclusões que se daí se retiraram. Para obtenção de resultados nesta área, os Jovens que se encontram na idade ou em idades próximas da base de recrutamento, assumem-se como universo de recolha de dados preferencial, de maneira que, os dados obtidos por este estudo são provenientes da inquirição dos Jovens que estudavam à data no 1 2º ano das Escolas Públicas da Cidade de Viseu. A partir da análise dos dados recolhidos chegaram-se a resultados extremamente significativos e pertinentes para a investigação. De salientar a importância que o público jovem atribui às características as sociadas à profissão militar, nomeadamente à possibilidade de trabalharem em equipa, ao desafio físico que constitui a profissão militar e à possibilidade de fazerem algo pela nação. Esta investigação poderá ser complementada com investigações semelhan tes, de maneira a percebermos qual a percepção que outros públicos jovens possuem acerca das Unidades Militares que se encontram implementadas nas suas regiões. Desta forma, poderse-ão recolher os melhores ensinamentos, tendo sempre como principal objecti vo transmitir uma boa imagem da Instituição Militar. | por |
| dc.description.abstract | Abstract Nowadays, there is a great instability and uncertainty, from the dizzying changes in everyday life, manifest at all levels of society. Against this backdrop of change, where the Military Institution is also affected, it becomes essential to understand the designs of future generations to follow natural evolution. Thus, the mainly objective of this applied research investigation is to characterize the social representations created by the Youth Population of Viseu City about the Infantry Regiment No. 14, located in the same place. Within the scope of military sociology, this research will focus on the issue of Civil-Military Relations in a restricted sense, referring solely and exclusively to the issue about the relationship between the Young Population and the Infantry Regiment No. 14. This work is divided into three main parts. In the first part is presented the theoretical framework, which deals more broadly with Civil-Military Relations, focusing on what concern the young public. The second part is filled by methodological considerations taken into account in this investigation. The third section concerns the analysis and discussing of results obtained in field work, and the conclusions which were drawn. To obtain results in this area, the Youth Population who are at the age or ages near recruitment are the preferred universe of data collection, so that, the data obtained in this study are from hearing young people who studied in the twelfth year of the Public Schools from Viseu City. Through the analysis of data collected, we found very significant and pertinent results to the investigation. We need to appreciate the importance that this young audience assigns to the characteristics associated with the military profession, including the possibility of working in a team, the physical challenge which is the military profession and the possibility of doing something for the nation. This research may be supplemented with similar investigations, to discover what perception other youth have about other military units, based in their regions. This way, can be learned lessons, always having as main objective t he conveyance of a good image of the Military Institution. | por |
