Abstract(s)
estudos futuros.
The present work aims to study the theme "Continuous Improvement in the Organizational Structure in the Air Force", intending to analyze how the continuous improvement philosophy is implemented in aeronautical maintenance activities, by its interconnection with the operational product. The methodologies and practices applied in all Air Force fleets are characterized, supported by an analysis of the dimensions of processes, leadership, people and training. A comparison is made with two civilian entities, due to their performance in the areas of aeronautical maintenance and/or continuous improvement, identifying best practices (benchmarking) that may eventually be replicated. The continuous improvement processes analyzed have achieved benefits in terms of process times, material availability, commitment, quality and employee motivation. In order to connect the current situation with the future moment, an action plan is proposed to systematize the implementation of continuous improvement in aeronautical maintenance activities in the Air Force and, respective, associated attributions, with the intention that each employee be an integral part of this process, using their human potential, identifying improvement opportunities that can achieve an increased in effectiveness, efficiency and quality of processes. This investigation concludes by referencing some recommendations and suggestions for future studies.
