Abstract(s)
O presente relatório tem por base a realização de um estágio curricular, integrante do
mestrado em Ecoturismo da Escola Superior Agrária de Coimbra do Instituto Politécnico
de Coimbra, na Biovilla Sustentabilidade. O trabalho realizado teve como principais
objetivos: a análise do modelo de sustentabilidade do projeto, com o intuito de
compreender os princípios da sua gestão, que desafios enfrenta e quais as expetativas de
futuro. A investigadora espera assim contribuir para o desenvolvimento deste projeto e
ajudar a empreender a sua missão de sustentabilidade.
O estudo inicia-se com um enquadramento teórico acerca da temática da sustentabilidade
e a forma esta se aplica no setor turístico. Segue-se a descrição do modelo de gestão da
Biovilla Sustentabilidade e das atividades realizadas durante o estágio. De seguida, é
conduzida uma análise SWOT do projeto. A última parte refere-se ao estudo empírico,
sendo que os dados foram recolhidos por meio de entrevistas a membros da cooperativa
e da equipa, de forma a perceber o seu modelo de gestão. Considerou-se, ainda,
pertinente criar três guias: o guia de sustentabilidade da Biovilla, o guia de natureza da
Biovilla, e o guia para a criação de projetos do mesmo género.

This report is based on the completion of a curricular internship, part of the master's degree in Ecotourism from the Coimbra Agricultural School of the Polytechnic Institute of Coimbra, at Biovilla Sustentabilidade. The main objectives of the project were: to analyze the sustainability model of the project, in order to understand the principles of its management, what challenges it faces and what its future prospects are. The researcher hopes to contribute to the development of this project and to help carry out its mission of sustainability. The study begins with a theoretical framework about sustainability and how it can be applied in the tourism sector. Then the management model of Biovilla Sustainability is described, as well as activities carried out during the internship. A SWOT analysis of the project is then conducted. The last part refers to the empirical study, with data collected from the interviews with the members of the cooperative and the team, in order to perceive its management model. It was also considered pertinent to create three guides: Biovilla's sustainability guide, guide for the creation of projects of the same kind and Biovilla's nature guide.
