| dc.description.abstract | Neste trabalho procuramos analisar a evolução dos Unmanned Aerial Systems ao longo dos tempos, particularmente no que se refere à forma como os sistemas aéreos não tripulados têm contribuído para modificar o conceito de operações no campo de batalha (Intelligence, Vigilância e Reconhecimento). As considerações para o seu emprego em operações militares são múltiplas e a maioria enquadram-se nas necessidades das Forças Armadas portuguesas e poderão ter um duplo uso se considerarmos as necessidades de outros organismos do Estado também responsáveis pela segurança nacional. Relativamente à investigação e desenvolvimento, Portugal tem apoiado as iniciativas emergentes e acompanhado a evolução do conhecimento ao nível internacional sem contudo manifestar qualquer intenção de utilizar estes sistemas, o que é patenteado na falta de uma estratégia política para este sector em permanente ascensão. Por último, é realizada uma pesquisa sobre a forma como dois países europeus realizaram a integração e a coordenação entre as necessidades, o desenvolvimento e a aquisição dos sistemas de armas, tecendo algumas recomendações que se poderão adaptar à situação portuguesa. Abstract: This work looks at the evolution of Unmanned Aerial Systems over time, with regard to how the Unmanned Aerial Systems have contributed to modify the concept of operations on the battlefield (Intelligence, Surveillance and Reconnaissance). The considerations for its use in military operations are numerous and most fall into the needs of the Portuguese Armed Forces and may have a dual use considering the needs of other state agencies also responsible for national security. Concerning research and development, Portugal has supported the emerged initiatives and monitoring of the evolution of knowledge at international level but without expressing any intention of using these systems, patented in the absence of a political strategy for this sector in constant rise. Finally, it conducted a survey on how two European countries carried out the integration and coordination between the needs, development and acquisition of weapons systems and elaborated some recommendations that can be adapted to the situation in Portugal. | pt_PT |
