Este trabalho, foi desenvolvido como a última parte de um longo caminho percorrido para obtenção do grau de mestre em Ciências Policiais na especialidade de Gestão de Segurança.
Com este trabalho, pretende-se alertar para a falta de cultura de segurança da informação, e de como essa situação pode afetar os ativos nacionais críticos, e consequentemente a nossa segurança como cidadãos.
A informação é um ativo que tem de ser salvaguardado, perante as inúmeras ameaças, pois se a informação não estiver segura, como é que as organizações (públicas ou privadas) e suas infraestruturas críticas, poderão desempenhar o seu papel de forma resiliente, e assim fomentar o seu contributo securitário perante a sociedade.
A interdependência, interligação, Estado, forças de segurança, nomeadamente a Polícia de Segurança Pública, evolução tecnológica, ameaças, vulnerabilidades, riscos, impactos, conflitos armados, são fatores que de uma forma, ou de outra, são abordados no decorrer deste trabalho.
Ter em mente todos estes fatores, serve não só para alertar, da importância e da necessidade da segurança da informação para uma infraestrutura crítica, mas também, proporcionar um ponto de partida para evoluirmos securitariamente.
This work was developed as the final part of a long journey to obtain a master's degree in Police Sciences, with a specialization in Security Management. This work aims to raise awareness of the lack of a culture of information security, and how this paradigm can affect critical national assets, and consequently our security as citizens. Information is an asset that must be safeguarded in the face of countless threats, because if the information is not secure, how will organizations (public or private) and their critical infrastructures be able to play their roles in a resilient manner and thus foster their security contribution to our society. Interdependence, interconnection, the State, security forces, namely the Public Security Police, technological evolution, potential threats, vulnerabilities, risks, impacts, armed conflicts, are all factors, that in one way or another, will be addressed throughout this work. Keeping all these factors in mind, will serve not only to alert us to the importance and necessity of information security for critical infrastructures, but also to provide a starting point for evolution in terms of security.
