Abstract(s)
As preocupações qualitativas existem no mundo desde sempre, pelo que esta
investigação propôs-se identificar a melhor solução para garantir qualidade na manutenção
de material terrestre, essencialmente em equipamentos de apoio a aeronaves, ou Ground
Support Equipment, dada a imprescindível dependência destes no apoio à atividade
operacional das aeronaves, e consequentemente, no cabal cumprimento da missão da FA.
A investigação foi desenvolvida de acordo com o método científico apresentado pelos
autores Quivy e Campenhoudt, com raciocínio hipotético-dedutivo, estratégia de
investigação qualitativa e um desenho de pesquisa do tipo estudo de caso, através de revisão
bibliográfica, análise documental e entrevistas a especialistas no domínio da investigação.
Os principais resultados obtidos relacionam a fiabilidade e disponibilidade do GSE
com o aprontamento das aeronaves, assim como, identificam os fatores que diminuem a
referida fiabilidade e disponibilidade, o que pode ser garantido com a existência de um
Sistema de Gestão da Qualidade.
A integração no Sistema de Gestão da Qualidade e Aeronavegabilidade já existente na
FA verificou-se ser a solução mais viável, visto aproveitar a cultura e a estrutura já
existentes, assim como, o próprio SGQA já prever atividades com implicações na qualidade
da manutenção das aeronaves, que é o caso do GSE. Abstract: The qualitative concerns have always existed in the world. Therefore, this research
aimed to identify the best solution to guarantee quality in the terrestrial material
maintenance, mainly in equipment to support aircraft, or Ground Support Equipment, given
the indispensable dependence of those in the support of the operational aircraft, and
consequently, in the full accomplishment of the FA's mission.
The research was developed according to the scientific method presented by the
authors Quivy and Campenhoudt, with hypothetical-deductive reasoning, qualitative
research strategy and a research design of the case study type, through bibliographical
review, documentary analysis and specialists in the field of research interviews.
The main results obtained relate the reliability and availability of GSE with aircraft
readiness, as well as identify the factors that reduce reliability and availability, which can
be guaranteed by the existence of a Quality Management System.
The integration in the Quality and Airworthiness Management System already existing
in the FA was the most viable solution since it took advantage of the already existing culture
and structure, as well as, the QAMS itself already foresees activities with implications in the
quality of the aircrafts maintenance, which is the GSE case.
