Abstract(s)
O consumo de bebidas alcoólicas continua em índices demasiados elevados relativamente aos
pretendidos. O álcool infere na capacidade de raciocínio, de julgamento e é um desinibidor
comportamental que, concomitantemente, pode conduzir à prática de atos ilegais ou irregulares.
Não possuímos instrumentos que se mostrem eficazes no combate ao alcoolismo nem que
estabeleçam uma relação entre o consumo de bebidas alcoólicas e a prática criminal pelo que
nos obrigámos a analisar o modo como esta matéria é tratada ao nível europeu e internacional de
forma a compreendermos se, de forma generalizada a relação álcool-crime existe e é uma
preocupação. Tendo por base a análise realizada, concretizamos o conhecimento adquirido
através da apresentação de propostas que analisem e combatam este fenómeno, numa perspetiva
preventiva.
The consumption of alcoholic beverages remains at a high rate than it was expected. Alcohol affects thinking and judgment and is a behavioral disinhibitor that, concomitantly, can lead to illegal or irregular acts. We have no instruments to prove the effectiveness of alcoholism combat, nor a relationship established between the consumption of alcoholic beverages and criminal practice. Therefore, we had analyzed how this issue is dealt in Europe and other countries in order to understand if, in a generalized manner, the alcohol-crime relationship exists and if it is a concern. Based on the analysis carried out, we concretize the knowledge acquired through the presentation of proposals to analyze and combat this phenomenon, in a preventive way.
