Conferência familiar na prestação de cuidados à pessoa em situação crítica.

Abstract(s)
O presente relatório de trabalho de projeto surge no âmbito do 4º Curso de Mestrado em Enfermagem Médico – Cirúrgica da Escola Superior de Saúde do Instituto Politécnico de Setúbal, do ano letivo 2014/2016 e a sua apresentação e discussão pública visam a obtenção do grau de Mestre nesta área científica. Descreve o percurso realizado e analisa as aprendizagens efetuadas no seu decurso, que esperamos ter contribuído para a quali-dade dos cuidados e a excelência no exercício da profissão, numa prática fundamentada pela investigação; e para a aquisição e consolidação de competências comuns e específi-cas do Enfermeiro de Especialista em Enfermagem Médico-cirúrgica [EEEMC] e de Mestre em Enfermagem Médico-cirúrgica.
Os profissionais que trabalham na Unidade de Cuidados Intensivos [UCI] têm como prioridade a manutenção do estado físico e biológico da Pessoa em situação critica [PSC] utilizando para isso procedimentos complexos que implicam uma vigilância contínua e uma resposta imediata. Reconhecer as necessidades dos familiares da PSC, gerir informação e avaliar o seu grau de satisfação, permite envolver a Pessoa/Família, de forma eficaz no processo de Cuidar.
Da necessidade de gerir informação, surge a conferência familiar, uma estratégia que permite estabelecer uma comunicação eficaz com a família, reforçando a relação interpessoal e possibilitando ir de encontro às suas necessidades. Como resposta, desenvolvemos o Projeto de intervenção em serviço [PIS] “Conferência Familiar [CF] na prestação de Cuidados à Pessoa em situação crítica” de acordo com a Metodologia de Projeto. Após validação da equipa de enfermagem da UCI, definimos como estratégias: elaborar instrumentos orientadores da CF e formar a equipa nas áreas de comunicação e Direito em saúde. No decorrer dos estágios realizados no âmbito do curso supracitado desenvolvemos um Projeto de Aprendizagem Clinica [PAC] com o objetivo de adquirir competências específicas na área Enfermagem Médico-Cirúrgica.
The present work, its presentation and public discussion were performed in scope of 4º Curso de Mestrado em Enfermagem Médico – Cirúrgica from Escola Superior de Saúde do Instituto Politécnico de Setúbal, year of 2014/2016, and mean to obtain the Master’s Degree It describes the journey made during this construction that allowed to evaluate acquired and consolidated skills in Medical-Surgical Nursing during the undergone internships, which contributed to the healthcare quality and to the excellence in the profession, supported on a research-based practice. The wealth professionals who work in the Intensive Care Unit have has priority the maintenance physical and the biological health of the Adult Critical Patient; using for it complex procedures that demands a continued vigilance and an immediate response. Recognize the needs, manage information; assess the overall level of satisfaction of the family members, allows effectively involved in the care process. Of the need to manage information, arise the Family meeting; a strategic that allows a effectively communicate with the family, strengthening interpersonal relationship and meet needs. Following the project methodology emerge, an intervention project entitle “Family Meeting in Adult Critical Patient Care”. After obtaining validation by the UCI nurse team, we define as strategies: develop guiding instruments of the FM; and forming the nurse team in health communications and Law. Through the internships, under the abovementioned of the specialization course, we develop a clinic learning project with the objective to acquire specific skills.
