Abstract(s)
Os cuidados de enfermagem perioperatórios, concretizam-se num processo uniformizado e
contínuo ao longo dos períodos pré, intra e pós-operatório, intervindo na pessoa que necessita
de procedimentos cirúrgicos, ao longo de todo o ciclo vital. Em contexto de cirurgia de
ambulatório, o exercício profissional de enfermagem abrange todos os períodos do
perioperatório. Verificando-se ser reduzido o tempo, que a pessoa permanece em contacto com
os enfermeiros, neste contexto. No entanto, surgindo a oportunidade, para implementar
intervenções de enfermagem, para capacitar e pessoa para a experiência cirúrgica. Permitindo
inclusivamente, a recuperação pós-operatória da pessoa, no conforto do domicílio e na
companhia das suas pessoas significativas.
O relatório de estágio, tem como propósito apresentar e discutir criticamente o percurso de
aprendizagem e de desenvolvimento de competências de enfermeiro especialista, inserido no
curso de mestrado de enfermagem médico-cirúrgica, na área de enfermagem à pessoa em
situação perioperatória.
No âmbito do estágio em contexto profissional, realizado numa unidade de cirurgia de
ambulatório e num bloco operatório de oftalmologia, surgiu a realização de um trabalho de
investigação, do tipo scoping review, relacionado com a consulta pré-operatória de
enfermagem, da criança/ jovem e família, em cirurgia de ambulatório.
Foi utilizado o método descritivo, acompanhado por reflexão crítica fundamentada na literatura,
para se exporem as experiências clínicas, as atividades realizadas e competências
especializadas desenvolvidas no estágio. Para demonstração de julgamento clínico, foi realizado
planeamento de cuidados, com vista à recolha e interpretação de dados relevantes,
identificação de diagnósticos de enfermagem, aplicação de intervenções de enfermagem e
respetivas atividades que as concretizam e os resultados obtidos face aos objetivos
estabelecidos. Relativamente ao trabalho de investigação, todo processo metodológico seguido
é explanado no mesmo.
A prestação de cuidados à pessoa em situação perioperatória em contexto de cirurgia de
ambulatório, permitiu o desenvolvimento de competências comuns de enfermeiro especialista e
de competências específicas de enfermeiro especialista em enfermagem médico-cirúrgica, na
área de enfermagem à pessoa em situação perioperatória, desenvolvimento de pensamento e
reflexão crítica, bem como julgamento clínico. Tendo por base esta realidade e considerando o
trabalho de investigação desenvolvido, foram também desenvolvidas as capacidades para
procura e mobilização de evidência científica.
Perioperative nursing care happens in a standardized and continuous process, throughout the pre-, intra- and post-operative periods, applying interventions in the person who needs surgical procedures, throughout the entire life cycle. In the context of ambulatory surgery, professional nursing practice covers all perioperative periods. The time that the person remains in contact with nurses is reduced in this context. However, the opportunity arises to implement nursing interventions to make the person able to deal with the surgical experience. Even allowing the person's post-operative recovery, in the comfort of their home and in the company of their significant others. The purpose of the internship report is to present and critically discuss the learning path and development of specialist nurse skills, included in the medical-surgical nursing master's degree course, in perioperative nursing. As part of the internship in a professional context, carried out in an ambulatory surgery center and in an ophthalmology operating theatre, research work was carried out, a scoping review, related to the preoperative nursing consultation, for children and family, in ambulatory surgery. The descriptive method was used, as well as critical reflection based on literature review, to show clinical experiences, the activities carried out and specialized skills developed in the internship. To demonstrate clinical judgment, care planning was performed, by collecting and interpreting relevant data, identifying nursing diagnoses, applying nursing interventions and the activities that implement them and the results obtained, in relation to the established objectives. Regarding the research work, the entire methodological process followed is explained therein. Caring for people in a perioperative situation, in ambulatory surgery allowed the development of common skills of specialist nurses and specific skills of perioperative nurse specialist, development of critical thinking and reflection, as well as clinical judgment. Considering the research work carried out, the ability to search and mobilize scientific evidence were also developed.
