Abstract(s)
The current research study was developed over an internship, in the 1st Cycle of Basic Education, in a 4th year school class. This study reflected a research path that explores learning strategies between working peers through discovery learning. It made it possible to observe and analyze how carrying out a grammar laboratory on pronouns influenced student learning, with students playing an active role in the teaching- learning process. The project’s design was based on a practice that included the following stages: the pre-test phase, which served as a diagnosis; the presentation of the first stage of the script and a didactic sequence divided into 5 stages that constitute the grammar laboratory (Script 1) carried out at different times. The methodology used was research into practice, integrated into a methodological paradigm of a qualitative/interpretive nature. Observation, recording of field notes and documentary research were applied. The data analysis technique was the contente analysis of the recorded and transcribed interactions of three carefully chosen pairs and their responses to the different stages of Guide 1. This project aims to reflect on the importance of collaborative work and how it influences students’ learning through carrying out a grammar laboratory.
