Abstract(s)
Este projecto resultou num ensaio visual que expõe uma narrativa que combina imagem e texto com mensagens activistas e sociais e na forma de projecções vídeo. Esta experiência visa ser conjugada e acompanhada por música de dança electrónica e futuramente apresentada em espaços de lazer e diversão nocturna. A medtologia que suportou a produção do projecto teve uma medida não interventiva que corresponde à fase de pesquisa e uma medida interventiva que materializou o projecto. O método específico que utilizámos para produção destes media é de Matt Cooke (2005) que nos ajudou a definir o problema e a transformar toda a informação que recolhemos num protótipo que mediu e verificou a eficácia com que respondemos aos objectivos do projecto. A questão principal desdobra-se sobre a capacidade de o design criar objectos que promovam o a união entre pessoas e o sentido de comunidade. O estudo explora o impacto e o papel da cultura visual na sociedade, bem como a relação entre a arte e o design e tenta perceber como a música electrónica e os seus espaços, a dança e as emoções, combinados com visuais, criam experiênciais multissensoriais que promovem a comunicação da mensagem do projecto. Os media criados para o projecto verificaram que podemos utilizar as redes sociais como medium para desafiar a percepção do público do que é conteúdo. Procura-se com esta investigação acrescentar conhecimento à comunidade científica sobre o a multidisciplinaridade do design e as suas vantagens na comunicação.
This project resulted in a visual essay that exposes a narrative that combines image and text with active and social messages in the form of video projections. This experience aims to be combined and accompanied by electronic dance music and in future to be presented in spaces of leisure and nightlife. The methodology that allowed the making of this project had non interventive and interventive approach.The specific method we used for production of these media is from Matt Cooke (2005) and it helped us define the problem and transform all the data we collected into a prototype that measured and verified how effectively it responds to the project objectives. The main question is concerned about the abilities design has to create objects that promote the union between people and the sense of community. This study explores the impact and role of visual culture in our society as well as the relationship between art and the design and attempts to understand how electronic dance music and its spaces, dance and emotions, combined with visuals, create multisensory experiences that promote the communication of the message presented in the project. The media created for this project have found that social media can be used as a medium that challenges a the public's perception of what content is. With this project we seek to add knowledge to the scientific communitythis research about the multidisciplinarity of design and its advantages in communication.
