Abstract(s)
O presente relatório tem como temática escolhida por mim e, mais tarde refletida com a minha orientadora, “Vamos à rua” – o brincar no exterior em creche e em jardim de infância. O principal objetivo foi compreender a importância atribuída pelos educadores cooperantes, em ambos os contextos, ao espaço exterior.
Este trabalho de investigação - ação foi desenvolvido em creche e em jardim de infância nos momentos de estágio no âmbito das Unidades Curriculares Estágio em Educação de Infância I, II e III, do Mestrado em Educação Pré-Escolar da ESE/IPS. Em ambos os contextos, foi importante perceber a conceção dos educadores de infância sobre o brincar no espaço exterior e de como a utilização do espaço exterior acontecia na rotina diária.
A Metodologia utilizada foi a investigação qualitativa, a abordagem da investigação ação, assente num paradigma interpretativo das ações e, consequentemente, na reflexão em conjunto com os profissionais. No que concerne à recolha de dados, privilegiei a observação participante, bem como as notas de campo, fotografias, e conversas informais com os educadores cooperantes e também com as auxiliares.
Este estudo permitiu perceber como era utilizado o espaço exterior nas instituições de estágio e as conceções que os educadores têm, respetivamente, dos benefícios de as crianças brincarem no espaço exterior.

The main objective was to understand the importance attributed by cooperating educators, in both contexts, to outer space. This research - action work was developed in kindergarten and kindergarten in the moments of internship in the scope of the UCS Internship in Childhood Education I, II and III, of the Master in Pre - School Education of ESE / IPS. . In both contexts, it was important to realize the conception of the educators of childhood about playing in outer space and how the use of outer space happened in the daily routine. The Methodology used was the qualitative research, the action research approach, based on an interpretative paradigm of actions and, consequently, the reflection with the professionals. As far as data collection is concerned, I favored participant observation as well as field notes, photographs, and informal conversations with the cooperating educators as well as with the assistants. This study allowed us to kwon how the outdoor space was used in internships and the conceptions that educators have, respectively, of the benefits of children playing in outer space.
