Abstract(s)
as suas representações sobre os efeitos do ensino à distância nas suas aprendizagens escolares?;
The last two years were marked by an complete atypical and unknown situation to all people: a global pandemic caused by SARS-COV-2. Due to public health reasons, the portuguese government had been forced to declare a role of restrictive measures of free circulation of people, which had resulted in serial lockdown periods, due to the Emergency State, declared for the first time in 18thmarch 2020. With the schools closed, in march 2020, about two millions of children in school age were forced to go home and have lessons from a distance (Santos E. , 2020). The learning from distance alternative, marked by fracturing differences in function of social origin, had become a fundamental need. Besides schools had been closed all socialization, social activity and human interaction spaces, essential to learning and development of children, including the leisure activity centres (CATL). I tis known today that, since the beginning of the Covid 19 crisis, the lockdown had compromised strongly the opportunities of growing and development of children, mainly who are from underprivileged social areas. As an educational assistant in a CATL, I set out to know the look of children who frequent the CATL, about the impact of lockdown in their well being : Which is the perception of children about the impact of lockdown in their daily routines?; Which are their representations about the impact of the long distance learning in their school learning experiences? How they evaluate the role of CATL in their growing and development? And what do they have to say about the answers that CATL had given during the lockdown period? This dissertation aims to present the results of an investigation, realized between January and June of 2021, and that had two fundamental objectives: i) to know the representations of a group of seventeen children who frequent the CATL sited in Bairro de S. Tomé, no Amial, about the impact f the second lockdown (occurred between 22ndjanuary and 11th march 2021) in their well being, in particular attention to their daily routines and learning experiences; ii) to know the evaluation of children of the activities which the referred CATL had realized during the pandemic period. The information gathering process to the present study counted on a direct administration of a survey to seventeen children who had age between 6 and 12 years old, applied in person on the CATL space, throughout the month of April. The results suggest that the activities proposed by CATL during the lockdown were important, in the children point of view, to fight their social isolation. Although, the results show that by virtue of the increased school difficulties with the distance learning, they hoped to have a greater monitoring in school matters by CATL, during the lockdown period.
