Abstract(s)
Devido a globalização e a competitividade existente atualmente a nível industrial, toda uma
indústria é focada na qualidade do produto, que promove um ganho superior ao tamanho do
custo investido. Para uma concretização deste ganho o sistema não só deve ser otimizado,
mas como também deve ter um controlo com maior confiabilidade que permite um suporte
maior nos sistemas de controlo e responsável pelo controlo automático do processo. O
trabalho do estágio curricular foi organizado nas seguintes componentes:
- atualização de diagramas de processo e instrumentação (P&I);
- atualização das correntes na áreas Produção de Xarope para fibras têxtis, produção de
suspensão de Negro de Fumo e Dispersão de Pigmento;
- testes de panos de filtros prensa com o objetivo de obter uma alternativa para os panos de
filtro prensa utilizados atualmente na empresa;
- cálculos do tempo de residência do circuito de produção de xarope do precursor de
carbono (DP2).
O estudo envolvendo uma atualização de diagramas de processo e instrumentação (P&I)
utilizado na SGL Composites como elementos fundamentais na manutenção e modificação
do processo de Preparação de Xarope. Estes P&I’s permitirão a compressão em detalhes
do processo de produção envolvente. A atualização dos presentes diagramas de processo,
permitirá a empresa uma real visão de toda a área processual e constituintes, envolvendo
equipamentos, tubagens e instrumentação. Para a criação dos P&I’s, será necessário a
realização de um trabalho em campo com a finalidade de reconhecimento de todos os
equipamentos e instrumentos associados ao processo.
O estudo do processo e instrumentação será complementado com a tualização de correntes
na área Produção de Xarope para fibras têxtis nomeadamente água industrial, CR de
lavagem, linhas de vapor, assima como as outras linhas envolvidas no processo de
Produção de Xarope. Para a área de produção de suspensão de Negro de Fumo e
Dispersão de Pigmento, serão também identificados todos os instrumentos equipamento
envolvidos no processo assim como: linhas de processo, equipamentos e instrumentos,
tamanho da tubagem (em polegadas), fluido transportado e o material de construção.
Neste trabalho será realizado também 5 testes de panos de filtros prensa com o objetivo de
obter uma alternativa para os panos de filtro prensa utilizados atualmente na empresa. Os
testes serão feitos a escala laboratorial, com a finalidade de avaliar e comparar a
capacidade de retensão de cada um dos panos, tempo de filtração, assim como a turbidez.
Os cálculos do tempo de residência do circuito de produção de xarope do precursor de
carbono (DP2). O cálculo do tempo de residência permitirá a obtenção de um conhecimento
sobre o tempo de permanência do Xarope no circuito DP2, interpretar e prever o
comportamento dos sistemas contínuos reais e as variações do mesmo entre os
equipamentos, assim como a possibilidade de verificar a existência de resultados iguais em
equipamentos diferentes.
Due to globalization and the competitiveness that currently exists at an industrial level, an entire industry is focused on product quality, which promotes a gain greater than the size of the invested cost. In order to achieve this gain, the system must not only be optimized, but also have a more reliable control that allows for greater support in the control systems and responsible for the automatic control of the process. The work of the curricular internship was organized into the following components: - update of process and instrumentation diagrams (P&I); - updating of currents in the areas of Production of Syrup for Textile Fibers, Production of Carbon Black Suspension and Pigment Dispersion; - tests of filter press cloths in order to obtain an alternative to the filter press cloths currently used in the company; - calculations of the residence time of the carbon precursor syrup production circuit (DP2). The study involving an update of process and instrumentation (P&I) diagrams used in SGL Composites as fundamental elements in the maintenance and modification of the Syrup Preparation process. These P&I's will allow the compression in details of the surrounding production process. Updating these process diagrams will allow the company a real view of the entire process area and constituents, involving equipment, piping and instrumentation. For the creation of the P&I's, it will be necessary to carry out field work in order to recognize all equipment and instruments associated with the process. The study of the process and instrumentation will be complemented with the updating of currents in the Syrup Production area for textile fibers, namely industrial water, washing CR, steam lines, as well as the other lines involved in the Syrup Production process. For the Carbon Black suspension and Pigment Dispersion production area, all instruments and equipment involved in the process will also be identified, as well as: process lines, equipment and instruments, piping size (in inches), transported fluid and material of construction. In this work, 5 tests of filter press cloths will also be carried out in order to obtain an alternative to the filter press cloths currently used in the company.
