| dc.description.abstract | Nos últimos anos, na sequência de todos os acontecimentos catastróficos que a floresta portuguesa tem sofrido, iniciou-se uma reforma florestal, com o intuito de a ordenar e reduzir o seu risco de incêndio. Na elaboração dessa reforma, os serviços dos ecossistemas, em especial, o sequestro de carbono, praticamente não foram valorizados.Assim sendo, o presente trabalho, com o objetivo de demonstrar o valor que os serviços do ecossistema possuem na nossa floresta, irá debruçar-se sobre o território de Arganil, quantificando o sequestro de carbono da floresta, neste município.Para tal, principiou-se o estudo pela caracterização do território, colocando maior ênfase na composição e estrutura da paisagem, analisando os usos e ocupações de solo do município, as suas espécies florestais mais representativas e as suas respetivas áreas e alterações, nos vinte anos que intermediaram entre 1995 e 2015.Com as quantidades de área de cada uso e ocupação de solo e com o apoio dos dados do sequestro de carbono do IFN6, tendo por base a Região de Coimbra da NUTS III, foi estimado o carbono armazenado na floresta do município de Arganil em 1995 e em 2015 e as respetivas diferenças neste período. | pt_PT |
| dc.description.abstract | In the recent years with all the castastrofic events that the Portuguese forest has suffered, a forest reform has been initiated to manage it and reduce the risk of fire. In designing this reform, the ecosystem services, in particular the carbon sequestration were hardly valued.In order to demonstrate the value that this ecosystem service has in our forest, based on the Arganil territory, this work aims to quantify the carbon sequestration of the forest of this municipality.To this end, this study began with the characterization of the territory. With a greater emphasis on landscape composition and structure, analyzing the municipalities land uses and occupations, its most representative forest species, and their respective areas and changes in the 20 years between 1995 to 2015.With the area quantities of each land use, soil occupation and with the support of IFN6 carbon sequestration data, based on the NUTS III Coimbra Region, the carbon stored in the forest of the municipality of Arganil was estimated in 1995 and in 2015 and their differences over this period. | pt_PT |
