A construção do saber em Enfermagem Médico-Cirúrgica, advém de uma evolução profissional e pessoal contínua, centrada na prática refletida e fundamentada, inerente ao processo de cuidar a pessoa e família em situação crítica, em diferentes contextos de atuação.
O presente relatório insere-se no âmbito da Unidade Curricular Relatório do curso de Mestrado em Enfermagem Médico-Cirúrgica, da Escola Superior de Enfermagem de São José de Cluny. Este documento surge para descrever o percurso de aprendizagem, efetuado ao longo da componente teórica e clínica do curso, em particular, nos estágios I, II e III realizados, respetivamente, no Serviço de Urgência do Centro Hospitalar e Universitário de Coimbra, na Unidade de Cuidados Intensivos do Hospital Dr. Nélio Mendonça e no Instituto Nacional de Emergência Médica da Delegação Regional do Centro, que permitiu o desenvolvimento de competências especializadas, comuns e específicas, em Enfermagem Médico-Cirúrgica.
A sua estrutura organizacional é suportada numa metodologia descritiva. O relato crítico-reflexivo e analítico enfatiza a capacidade de avaliação, diagnóstico e intervenção no cuidar de enfermagem à pessoa e família em situações complexas de vida, alicerçada numa prática reflexiva baseada na evidência científica, desde o socorro pré-hospitalar ao hospital.
Como resultado de aprendizagem, o relatório mostra um distinto olhar sobre o cuidado da pessoa e família em situação crítica, revelando um nível de competências científicas, técnicas, ético-deontológicas e humanas diferenciadas.
The development and increase in medical-surgical nursing knowledge stems from a continuous professional and personal evolution centered on a reflected and substantiated practice inherent to the process of caring for the person in critical condition and family, in the various contexts of interaction. The present report surges within the scope of the curricular unit report of the master course in medical-surgical nursing, on the nursing school of São José de Cluny. The purpose of this document is to elucidate the course of learning, acquired along the theoretical and clinical components of the course, in particular, the I, II and III internships, carried out, respectively, in the Emergency Department of the Hospital and University Center of Coimbra, in the unit of Intensive Care of the Hospital Dr. Nélio Mendonça and at the National Institute of Medical Emergency of the Regional Delegation of the Center, that permitted the development of specialized skills, common and specific, in Medical-Surgical Nursing. Its organizational structure is supported in a descriptive. The critical-reflexive and analytical report emphasizes the capacity to evaluate, diagnose and intervene in the nursing care to the person in complex situations and family, supported on a reflexive practice based on scientific evidence, since pre-hospital relief to hospital. As a result of learning, the report shows a distinct look about the care of the person in critical condition and family, revealing a differentiated level of scientific, technical, ethical-deontological and human competences.
