No atual contexto de transformação digital, as empresas enfrentam crescente pressão para melhorar a rastreabilidade, transparência e eficiência. Este trabalho analisou o impacto da tecnologia blockchain na indústria, avaliando o seu potencial para reforçar a confiança, automatizar processos e promover sustentabilidade. A revisão sistemática realizada permitiu identificar aplicações, benefícios e limitações. Concluindo que a blockchain melhora a rastreabilidade, reduz fraudes, aumenta a segurança da informação e apoia a automação, embora enfrente desafios como custos, falta de normalização e integração. Ainda assim, demonstra ser uma tecnologia promissora para reforçar a eficiência e resiliência industrial
In the current context of digital transformation, companies face increasing pressure to improve traceability, transparency, and efficiency. This study analysed the impact of blockchain technology on industry, assessing its potential to strengthen trust, automate processes, and promote sustainability. The systematic review carried out identified applications, benefits, and limitations. It concluded that blockchain improves traceability, reduces fraud, increases information security and supports automation, although it faces challenges such as costs, lack of standardisation and integration. However, it proves to be a promising technology for enhancing industrial efficiency and resilience.
