O presente trabalho tem como meta estudar o impacto que o turismo-cultural tem sobre os destinos turísticos, nomeadamente sobre a zona cultural de Belém, pela oferta turística e cultural dos vários equipamentos patrimoniais e monumentais aí existentes, através de informações recolhidas junto dos públicos que frequentam esta histórica e belíssima zona da cidade de Lisboa.
Sendo um local repleto de história e detentor de um vasto e diferenciado conjunto de equipamentos culturais - Monumentos, Museus e Jardins Históricos, a análise deste tópico turístico da área de Belém – o impacto do turismo cultural nos destinos turísticos, foi realizado através de um estudo teórico baseado em uma revisão de literatura; e um estudo empírico, informações obtidas junto de intervenientes do turismo na área – turistas (através da aplicação de um inquérito). Deste modo o estudo teórico permitiu interpretar e aprofundar os conhecimentos sobre a zona turística e histórica de Belém, bem como dos seus equipamentos e espaços culturais, já a realização e entrega de inquéritos permitiu recolher informações dos turistas e visitantes face à oferta existente (as suas opiniões/avaliações; satisfação de visita e possível recomendação deste destino).
The present work aims to study the impact that cultural-tourism has on tourist destinations, particularly on the cultural area of Belém, through the tourist and cultural offer of the various heritage and monumental equipment contained there, through information gathered from public attending this historic and beautiful area of Lisbon. Being a place full of history and holds a vast and diverse set of cultural facilities - Monuments, Museums and Historic Gardens, the analysis of this tourist topic of Belém area - the impact of cultural tourism in tourist destinations, was carried out through a theoretical study based on a literature review; and an empirical study, information obtained from tourism stakeholders in the area - tourists (by applying a survey). The theoretical study allowed to interpret and deepen the knowledge of the tourist and historic district of Belém, as well as their equipment and cultural venues, as the realization and delivery of surveys allowed to collect information for tourists and visitors due to the existing offer (their reviews / evaluations; visit satisfaction and possible recommendation of destination).
