| dc.description.abstract | O presente trabalho pretende contribuir para o conhecimento e valorização do património vernáculo existente na região de Trás-os-Montes e Alto Douro, mais especificamente dos pombais existentes na aldeia de Uva, concelho de Vimioso. Estes foram edificados para servir de abrigo e criação dos pombos, possibilitando no passado o desenvolvimento de uma economia de subsistência. Com o aumento do êxodo rural, muita da população rural emigrou em busca de melhores condições de vida, originando o crescente abandono de muitas práticas agrícolas, inclusive a criação de pombos. Em consequência, a grande maioria destas edificações encontra-se abandonada e em ruínas. Neste sentido, o principal objetivo da investigação é proporcionar o conhecimento deste património construído no mundo rural através da catalogação, análise e recomendações para futuras intervenções, o que contribuirá para a sua valorização e salvaguarda. Metodologicamente, trata-se de uma investigação de estudo de caso, do tipo descritiva e documental. A dissertação desenvolve-se em seis partes, destacando-se os referentes à fundamentação teórica, na qual se efetua a revisão da literatura (parte 2 e 3); a elaboração dos inquéritos, resultantes da recolha e sistematização de dados específicos, por meio do trabalho de campo (parte 4); a análise de conteúdo e a estruturação dos resultados preliminares (parte 5), facultando assim, os dados essenciais para as considerações finais que respondem ao terceiro e último objetivo (parte 6). Esta parte reflete sobre a importância deste património, assim como as suas principais potencialidades. Neste sentido, definiram-se recomendações para a proteção destas construções, identificando também alguns exemplos de intervenções que poderão servir como futuras referências. | pt_PT |
| dc.description.abstract | Abstract The present work intends to contribute for the knowledge and increase in value of the existent vernacular inheritance in the region of Trás-os- Montes and Alto Douro, more specifically the existent of dovecotes in the Uva village, district of Vimioso. They were built for the purpose of sheltering and reproduction of pigeons, allowing in the past the development of an economy of subsistence. With the increase of the rural exodus, a lot of the rural population migrated in search of better life conditions, resulting on the growing abandonment of many agricultural practices, including the pigeons breeding. Consequently, the vast majority of these constructions are abandoned and in ruins. In this way, the main objective of this research is to provide the knowledge of this inheritance built in a rural region, through the cataloging, analysis and recommendations for futures interventions, which will contribute to the increase of its value and safeguard. Methodologically, this is a case study analysis of descriptive and documentary type. The dissertation is developed in six parts, highlighting a theoretical base, in which take place the revision of the literature (part 2 and 3); the elaboration of the inquiries, resultant from the collection and systematization of specific data, through the field work (part 4); the analysis of the content and the structuring of the preliminary results (part 5), thus providing the essential data for the final considerations that answers to the third and last objective (part 6). This part reflects about the inheritance importance, as well as their major potential. In this Way, they were defined recommendations for the protection of these buildings, also identifying some examples of interventions that could serve as future references. | pt_PT |
