Abstract(s)
A influência dos conteúdos produzidos pelos órgãos de comunicação social sobre o comportamento humano tem gerado intenso debate. Os OCS criam realidades e levam à partilha de códigos e representações sobre temas tidos como socialmente relevantes, podendo interferir na legitimidade percebida do poder instituído ao fazer eco dos significados de ordem e desordem social. Importa, pois, considerar a influência que os OCS exercem na formação da perceção das pessoas relativamente às instituições do sistema social, também elas estratégicas na sociedade, como é o caso da Polícia. Através duma abordagem qualitativa procura-se, analisando o conteúdo de notícias emitidas através dos meios radiofónicos sobre o policiamento de grandes eventos, aceder a uma expressão de como esta realidade se constitui no seio de um discurso específico que é, para muitos, a única maneira de contactarem com estes temas e acontecimentos; e, destacar os esquemas interpretativos que são emitidos para toda a sociedade fornecendo grelhas de compreensibilidade
The influence of the contents produced by the media concerning human behavior, has created intense debate. The media create realities and lead to sharing codes and representation about themes thought to be socially relevant, can interfere in understood authenticity of the established power making echo have social order and disorder´s meaning. It is important to consider the influences of the media in shaping the perception of individuals with regard to the social system´s institutions, them to strategic in society, as the case of the police. Using a qualitative approach, we try by analyzing the content of news broadcasted by the radio about the involvement of the police in big events, to get to an expression about how this reality develops inside a specific speech which is for many the only way to get in touch with these themes and events and point out the interpretative schemes which are issued to all society giving understandment broiler
