| dc.description.abstract | O fado, estilo musical fortemente ligado à identidade cultural portuguesa, estabelece uma forma de comunicação e relação. Tal como todos os estilos musicais, também o Fado tem a capacidade de despoletar determinadas emoções e sentimentos nos indivíduos. A presente dissertação tem como objetivo analisar e compreender as emoções e sentimentos despertados através deste estilo musical em três das suas distintas vertentes – contemporâneo, tradicional e original – nas diferentes gerações presentes na sociedade de hoje em dia. Propõe-se refletir e compreender a ligação existente entre o Fado e as gerações em estudo, de forma a averiguar se os sentimentos e emoções são idênticos entre as diferentes faixas etárias. Com esta análise pretende-se ainda perceber se existe rotura com o Fado. Os resultados mostram que as perceções são distintas entre os diferentes grupos etários. Este estudo revela que a faixa etária mais jovem já não possui uma ligação tão forte com o estilo musical em questão. Tendo em conta a natureza exploratória deste trabalho, os resultados alavancam novas propostas que se espera poderem alimentar novas investigações futuras. | pt_PT |
| dc.description.abstract | Fado, a type of music strongly connected to Portuguese cultural identity, established a form of communication and relationship. Like every type of music, Fado is also capable of reproducing emotions and feelings. The present dissertation aims to analyze and understand how emotions and feelings aroused through this musical style in three of its different aspects – contemporary, traditional and original – in the different generations present in today's society. The idea of this dissertation is to reflect and understand the connection between Fado and the generations under study, in order to ascertain whether the feelings and emotions are identical between the different age groups. With this analysis it is also intended to understand if there is a rupture with Fado. The results show that the perceptions are different between the different age groups. This study reveals that the younger age group no longer has such a strong connection with the musical style in study. Considering the exploratory nature of this work, new investigation clues may be important for future works in tourism area. | pt_PT |
