Abstract(s)
O presente trabalho tem como objetivo contribuir para o
estudo da perceção que os colaboradores têm sobre o contributo
da função dos profissionais de RH dentro das organizações. Com
base no modelo de competências dos profissionais de RH de
Ulrich et at. (1995) formulou-se a hipótese de que, a perceção do
valor da função RH para o negócio da empresa é influenciada
positivamente pela perceção que os colaboradores têm das
competências dos profissionais da área de RH.
Participaram neste estudo, de natureza quantitativa, 547
participantes que responderam a um questionário via on-line,
composto por 2 escalas de medida, nomeadamente uma referente
aos grupos de competências dos profissionais RH (conhecimento
do negócio, expertize, gestão da mudança e relações
interpessoais) e a outra á perceção do valor da função RH.
Os resultados mostraram uma associação positiva e forte
entre as competências incluídas e a perceção de valor. As
competências relacionadas com apoio a processos de gestão da
mudança organizacional vieram a revelar-se como o melhor
preditor do valor da função RH.
The propose of this work is to contribute to the study of the perception that employees have about the contribution of the role of HR professionals inside the organizations. Based on the skills model of HR professionals by Ulrich et al. (1995), the hypothesis was formulated that, the perception of the value of the HR function for the company's business is positively influenced by the perception that employees have of the skills of professionals in HR area. In this quantitative study there were 547 participants, who answered a questionnaire via online, consisting of 2 measurement scales, namely one referring to the competence groups of HR professionals (business knowledge, expertize, change management and interpersonal relationships) and the other the perception of the value of the HR function. The results showed a positive and strong association between the skills included and the perception of value. The skills related to supporting organizational change management processes have come to prove to be the best predictor of the value of the HR function.
