Abstract(s)
A segurança é
Specialized nursing intervention focuses on promoting the quality of healthcare delivery, which is a key area nowadays. Security is an integral part of this field, and these concepts must be addressed simultaneously. The nurse is the privileged health professional in contact with the patient, being able to identify areas of instability early-on. When providing care with focus on prioritizing client surveillance, we promote their safety by preventing complications and detecting these outbreaks early. The mobilization of nursing intuition in the detection of sources of instability, and consequent promotion of the safety of the person in critical care, is the fundamental topic of this project, which was developed within the scope of the Master's degree in Medical- Surgical Nursing in the Area of Nursing for People in Critical Care. With that in mind, this report presents a search for scientific evidence on the influence of nursing intuition in detecting areas of client instability, aiming to understand the intervention of specialist nurses in promoting the safety of people in critical care. This report is a critical analysis of the path of development of skills within the different contexts of clinical teaching, analysis and reflection of practical situations, group sharing instances and debate among nursing advisors that allowed the development of master's and specialist nurse’s skills in medical-surgical nursing in the area of people in critical care. Along this path, it is important to highlight the development of skills in the area of quality and risk management, as well as communication skills, contributing to the sharing and dissemination of knowledge in the area of nursing.
