| dc.description.abstract | Para a presente dissertação de mestrado foi traçado como objectivo compreender a importância da dinâmica editorial na cultura arquitectónica portuguesa. Para isso, a estrutura do trabalho comporta, num primeiro momento, um enquadramento do desenvolvimento dos meios editoriais no âmbito da arquitectura em Portugal no final do século XX e no início do século XXI. Propõe igualmente identificar as principais publicações especializadas na disciplina durante o mesmo período, no panorama nacional. Como objectivo específico, a presente investigação pretende estabelecer uma leitura crítica do posicionamento e das estratégias de comunicação da revista NU, através da análise das obras publicadas entre 2002 e 2012, período marcado por 38 números, que permitiram aos estudantes de várias gerações do Departamento de Arquitectura da Faculdade de Ciências e Tecnologia da Universidade de Coimbra, desenvolverem e partilharem olhares diferentes sobre arquitectura, confrontando e interrogando a disciplina de forma relativamente livre e espontânea, visto que se trata de uma publicação de base experimental. Para isso, a investigação propõe um estudo desde as origens da fundação da revista, passando pelo processo de afirmação, do funcionamento, das características e especificidades, das tendências editoriais, até às questões formais e de grafismo, que resultaram das dinâmicas organizacionais durante as diferentes direcções. | pt_PT |
| dc.description.abstract | This master degree dissertation aims to understand the importance of the editorial dynamic in Portuguese architectural culture. With that main purpose, the structure of the present work involves, at a first step, a descriptive framework on the development of media publications in architecture in Portugal in the late twentieth and early twenty-first century. Additionally, proposes also to identify the key publications in the discipline during the same period in the national scene. As a specific objective, the present research aims to establish a critical reading on the positioning and communication strategies of magazine NU by analyzing the published works from 2002 to 2012, a period with 38 numbers, which allowed for several student generations of the Architecture Department of the Faculty of Science and Technology, University of Coimbra, develop and share different looks and perspectives on architecture, confronting and questioning the discipline in a relatively free and spontaneous way, since it is a publication with an experimental basis. For that, this research proposes a study on the founding of the magazine, going through the affirmation process, the overall operation, the characteristics and specificities, the editorial trends, the formats and the graphics which have resulted of organizational dynamics during different leaderships. | pt_PT |
