Abstract(s)
O presente relatório do Projeto de Investigação do Mestrado em Educação PréEscolar tem como principal foco o envolvimento das famílias no contexto de creche e
jardim de infância. O estudo que está na base deste projeto desenvolveu-se nos
contextos onde realizei os meus estágios, com a finalidade de compreender como se
pode promover o envolvimento das famílias e quais as estratégias postas em prática
pelas educadoras com essa finalidade.
O objetivo deste estudo foi compreender que relação existe entre a instituição e
a família e de que forma é importante o envolvimento da família no desenvolvimento
do processo educativo da criança. Enquanto estagiária e futura profissional na área,
procurei conhecer as conceções das educadoras sobre este tema, através de inquéritos
por questionário, mas também através de conversas informais e de reflexões
cooperadas. Também realizei algumas intervenções com o intuito de promover o
envolvimento das famílias e crianças.
Este estudo baseia-se numa metodologia de investigação qualitativa, orientada
pelos princípios da investigação-ação. Para a recolha de informações relevantes ao meu
estudo, recorri a diferentes procedimentos como a observação participante, as notas de
campo, o registo fotográfico e os inquéritos por questionário. No tratamento da
informação utilizei também a pesquisa e análise documental referente aos projetos
pedagógicos das salas.
Através deste estudo pude vivenciar diversas experiências em ambos os
contextos e conhecer duas realidades diferentes. Com isso, percebi que em certos
momentos desta profissão é preciso que o educador se ajuste à realidade que está a
viver, como foi o caso da pandemia Covid-19, em que as educadoras tiveram de
encontrar estratégias para envolver as famílias nos seus contextos. Tanto as crianças,
como as famílias e a equipa pedagógica beneficiam ao envolvermos as famílias no
contexto educativo, tendo em conta que estas participam no desenvolvimento das suas
crianças.
The main focus of this report of the Research Project of the Master's Degree in Preschool Education is the involvement of families in kindergarten and nursery school. The study on which this project is based was developed in the contexts where I did my internships, in order to understand how to promote the family involvement and what strategies are put into practice by educators for this purpose. The objective of this study was to understand the relationship between the institution and the family and how important the involvement of the family is in the development of the child's educational process. As a trainee and future professional in the area, I tried to find out the educators' conceptions on this subject, through questionnaires, but also through informal conversations and cooperative reflections. I also made some interventions in order to promote the involvement of families and children. This study is based on a qualitative research methodology, guided by the principles of action research. To collect information relevant to my study, I used different procedures such as participant observation, field notes, photographic record and questionnaire surveys. In processing the information, I also used the document research and analysis related to the pedagogical projects of the classrooms. Through this study I was able to live several experiences in both contexts and get to know two different realities. With that, I realized that in certain moments of this profession it is necessary that the educator adjusts to the reality that he or she is living, as was the case of the Covid-19 pandemic, in which educators had to find strategies to involve families in their contexts. Children, families and the pedagogical team all benefit by involving families in the educational context, taking into account that they participate in their children's development.
