Abstract(s)

Every day, every person uses an idiom during conversation. It is a well know part of the language that never changes. We perceive an idiom along with the other included information, emotions, and feelings we have at the moment of speaking. But how do idioms really look like in our mind in the moment of saying and perceiving. Are they the same? How do we really see them?! This work is an attempt to understand the nature of idioms, show their abilities and features. An effort to understand the power of association and interpretation. An attempt to transmit deep philosophical information that is laid in an idiom, to the simple understandable visual material. In addition the visual pieces are produced as postcards, in order to restore the value of the real postcard and bring attention to the actual reality among nowadays informational culture.This work is an attempt to understand the nature of idioms, show their abilities and features.
