Este Plano de Negócios surgiu da necessidade de se desenvolver a ideia de negócio sobre a implantação de um Hotel Rural de 4 estrelas, na zona de Sintra, com a designação “Quinta Búfala de Sintra”. Este hotel inserir-se-á numa quinta com produção hortofrutícola e pecuária de galinhas pintadas e búfalas leiteiras. Simultaneamente, terá um restaurante de especialidades e pratos regionais.
Pretende-se enriquecer Sintra com um empreendimento único e diferenciador que proporciona aos seus hóspedes uma estadia personalizada, relaxante e minimalista aliada ao contacto profundo com a natureza e ao requinte da vila envolvente.
Desta forma, iniciou-se uma exaustiva análise ao mercado envolvente, público-alvo, bem como à concorrência que este negócio enfrenta, só assim se pôde concluir acerca das oportunidades e dos desafios que este hotel terá pela frente.
De seguida, elaborou-se um modelo de negócio detalhado, definiram-se as estratégias de marketing, os planos de gestão de pessoal e de operações mais adequados a este tipo de negócio com o intuito de maximizar as suas receitas e potencializar o seu crescimento.
Finalmente, apresentou-se o modelo financeiro e concluiu-se acerca da viabilidade económico-financeira deste negócio.

This hotel will be part of a farm with fruit and vegetable production. It will also have livestock production, namely guinea fowls and dairy buffaloes. At the same time, it will have a restaurant with specialties dishes and regional dishes. It´s intended to enrich Sintra with an unique and differentiating enterprise, which offers its guests a personalized, relaxing and minimalist stay, allied to the deep contact with nature and the refinement of the surrounding village. In this way, we began an exhaustive analysis of the market, the targeted public, as well as the competition that this business face, only this way we could conclude about the opportunities and challenges that this hotel will face. Next, a detailed business model was elaborated. The marketing strategies, personnel management plans and operations adapted to this type of business were defined, with the purpose of maximizing the hotel’s revenues and growth. Finally, the financial model was presented and it was concluded about the economic-financial viability of this business.
