Abstract(s)
A amostra deste estudo
partida.
Happiness at work is a topic that is arousing increasing interest in the organizational context, as it not only benefits the organization's results, but also promotes sustainability by encouraging a culture that values the balance between personal and professional life. Happy employees are more predisposed to creativity and tend to be more resilient and productive, which contributes to healthier and more sustainable work environments in the long term. Furthermore, job satisfaction can reduce turnover and costs associated with replacing employees, promoting more effective management of the organization's human and financial resources. In this sense, we intend to answer the following question “How does organizational happiness influence employee motivation and productivity?”. To this end, the present study's research objectives are: to identify the main factors that contribute to happiness at work and their correlation with employee motivation and productivity. To achieve the proposed objectives, a quantitative methodology was adopted, through the application of a questionnaire as a data collection technique. The sample of this study is made up of 253 individuals who are working professionally, aged 18 years or over, female and male. Data collection occurred through random convenience sampling, with voluntary and anonymous participation. The main results of the study confirmed the existence of a significant correlation between happiness at work and employee motivation and productivity, thus providing an answer to the starting question.
