| dc.description.abstract | A tauromaquia, apesar de envolta em alguma polémica nos tempos recentes, encontra-se difundida um pouco por todo o Portugal Continental, e será importante, por isso perceber se existe relação entre a sua presença e o desenvolvimento regional. Deste modo, a presente dissertação procura apresentar os conceitos de desenvolvimento regional e tauromaquia, adicionando a esta problemática a questão cultural, uma vez que um dos maiores debates sobre a temática se centra sobre se deveremos considerar a tauromaquia cultura ou não, sendo apresentada uma posição para esta questão. Verifica-se que desenvolvimento regional e a cultura, apesar de áreas díspares, encontram-se intimamente ligadas, pois a cultura de uma região, com todas as suas marcas distintivas, espirituais e materiais, intelectuais e afetivas, caraterizam o modo de agir e pensar, dessa sociedade. Deste modo a cultura de um povo influencia o desenvolvimento social de uma região. Além desta relação ao nível social, a questão cultural, contribui para o desenvolvimento das regiões através das suas atividades culturais. A pesquisa apoiou-se na metodologia da observação participante, na análise bibliográfica e documental. As análises efetuadas nos diferentes âmbitos de investigação permitiram compreender como é que esta manifestação cultural com raízes tradicionais, pela sua componente de diferenciação e distintividade, pode ser um elemento de desenvolvimento socioeconómico a ter em conta nas estratégias de afirmação da identidade, num quadro de relações com cultura global, e no desenvolvimento das regiões onde a festa e os espetáculos dos touros são mais intensamente vivenciados. | pt_PT |
| dc.description.abstract | Bullfighting, although involved in some controversy in recent times, is widespread throughout Continental Portugal, and it will then be important, to understand if there is a relationship between its presence and regional development. Thus, this dissertation seeks to present the concepts of regional development and bullfighting, adding to this problem the cultural issue, since one of the biggest debates on the theme focuses on whether we should consider bullfighting culture or not, and a position is presented for this question. It appears that regional development and culture, despite disparate areas are closely linked, as the culture of a region, with all its distinctive marks, spiritual and material, intellectual and affective, characterize the way of acting and thinking of this society. In this way, the culture of a people influences the social development of a region. In addition to this relationship at the social level, the cultural issue contributes to the development of the regions through cultural activities. The research was based on the methodology of participant observation, bibliographic and documentary analysis. The analyzes carried out in the different areas of investigation allowed us to understand how this cultural manifestation with traditional roots, due to its component of differentiation and distinctiveness, can be an element of socioeconomic development to be taken into account in relations of affirmation of identity, within a framework of relationships with global culture, and in the development of the regions where the party and the spectacles of the bulls are more intensely experienced. | pt_PT |
