O trabalho busca entender a linha discursiva de André Ventura e o Partido Chega como fenômeno da direita radical em Portugal, com destaque para o período das eleições legislativas de 2024. A pesquisa buscou analisar o conceito de populismo, a retórica populista utilizada pelo Chega e seu líder André Ventura e como as redes sociais podem influenciar na propagação desses discursos. Além disso, foram analisadas as publicações do Chega e Ventura no X e Instagram de 05 de fevereiro a 08 de março focada em três eixos principais: Ameaças Externas, Crítica às Elites e Valorização do Povo
This work aims to understand the discursive line of André Ventura and the Chega Party as a phenomenon of the radical right in Portugal, with a focus on the 2024 legislative elections. The research seeks to analyze the concept of populism, the populist rhetoric used by Chega and its leader André Ventura, and how social media can influence the spread of these discourses. Additionally, the study examines the publications by Chega and Ventura on X and Instagram from February 5 to March 8, focusing on three main axes: External Threats, Criticism of Elites, and Glorification of the People
