| dc.description.abstract | Vivemos em tempos em que as técnicas de investigação criminal tradicionais já não são suficientes para as investigações. Neste sentido, o investigador criminal precisa de desenvolver, suportar e aperfeiçoar novos conhecimentos, técnicas e competências por forma a acompanhar as novas tecnologias que dão azo a novas tipologias de crimes que se propagam em diferentes modalidades, exigentes de uma atuação policial cada vez mais preparada e especializada, que acompanhe a dinâmica social. Para tal, a formação deve ser adequada às verdadeiras necessidades de investigação, devendo, por isso, ser constantemente refletida, reformulada e modernizada, e fazer o uso de meios cada vez especializados que ofereçam ao investigador uma formação mais completa. A nossa investigação focou no estudo da formação disponibilizada pela Polícia Nacional de Cabo Verde, com o objetivo de averiguar, através da aplicação de um inquérito por questionário, se a formação no âmbito da investigação criminal satisfaz as necessidades da função. Os resultados da nossa investigação sugerem que a formação é insuficiente e precária, estando sob a dependência absoluta da cooperação internacional e não acompanha a evolução da instituição policial, havendo necessidade de ser alvo de reestruturação. | pt_PT |
| dc.description.abstract | We live in times when traditional criminal investigation techniques are no longer appropriate for investigations. In this sense, the criminal investigator needs to develop, support and perfect new knowledge, techniques and skills in order to keep up with the new technologies that give rise to new typologies of sophisticated crimes that spread criminality in different modalities, requiring an increasingly prepared and specialised police action that accompanies the social dynamics. This way, training must be adequated to the real needs of investigation, and should therefore be constantly reflected, reformulated and modernised, and make use of increasingly specialised means that offer the investigator the most complete training possible. Therefore, our research focused on the study of the training provided by the National Police of Cape Verde, with the aim of ascertaining, through the application of a questionnaire survey, whether the training in the field of criminal investigation is adequate and meets the needs of the function. The results of our research suggest that training is insufficient and precarious, being under the absolute dependence of international cooperation and does not accompany the evolution of the police institution, with the need for restructuring. | pt_PT |
