Enquadrado no plano de estudos do VI Mestrado em Enfermagem em Associação, área
de especialização em Enfermagem Médico-cirúrgica: a Pessoa em Situação Crítica, o
presente Relatório surge como a etapa conclusiva deste percurso formativo.
Estreitamente relacionado com a unidade curricular Estágio Final, este documento
ambiciona, através de uma metodologia descritiva e crítico-reflexiva, dar visibilidade a todo
um processo de aquisição e desenvolvimento de competências comuns e específicas de
enfermeiro especialista em Enfermagem Médico-Cirúrgica - a Pessoa em Situação Crítica e
de mestre em enfermagem.
Como atividade de particular destaque, no domínio da investigação, foi desenvolvido um
Projeto de Intervenção Profissional com o objetivo de melhorar a segurança e qualidade das
intervenções à pessoa vítima de Traumatismo Crânio-Encefálico na Sala de Emergência.
Baseado na Metodologia de Projeto e no Modelo para Mudança da Prática Baseada em
Evidência, este projeto promoveu a implementação de estratégias de capacitação dos
profissionais e de uniformização dos cuidados, através da criação de um protocolo de
atuação.
Simultaneamente, realiza-se a descrição e análise das atividades desenvolvidas,
oportunidades vivenciadas e aprendizagens adquiridas em contexto clínico, que, em sinergia
com a componente teórica e percurso profissional prévio, contribuíram para a edificação das
competências visadas.
As part of the VI Master's Degree program in Association Nursing, a specialization area in Medical-Surgical Nursing: the Person in a Critical Situation, the present Report is the conclusion of this formative degree. Closely related to the Final Internship curricular unit, this document aims, through a descriptive and critical-reflexive methodology, to give visibility to an entire process of acquisition and development of common and specific competencies of specialist nurses in Medical-Surgical Nursing: the Person in Critical Situation and master's degree in nursing. As a particularly noteworthy activity, in the field of research, a Professional Intervention Project was developed with the aim of improving the safety and quality of interventions for victims of Traumatic Brain Injury in the Emergency Room. Based on the Project Methodology and on the Model for Evidence-Based Practice Change, this project promoted the implementation of strategies to train professionals and standardized care, through the developing an action plan. Simultaneously, a description and an analysis of the activities, opportunities experienced and learning acquired in the clinical context are carried out, which, in synergy with the theoretical component and previous professional path, contributed to the construction of the targeted competences.
