Abstract(s)
O presente relatório tem como principal objetivo demonstrar o processo de aprendizagem
obtido na Unidade Curricular: Estágio de natureza profissional com relatório - Módulo II que
integra o 1º Curso de Mestrado em Enfermagem Médico-Cirúrgica à pessoa em situação
Perioperatória da Escola Superior de Enfermagem do Porto. O estágio de natureza profissional
decorreu em dois contextos distintos na área do perioperatório de um Centro Hospitalar, entre 6
de fevereiro de 2023 a 23 de junho de 2023.
De acordo com o regulamento de competências específicas do enfermeiro especialista em
Enfermagem Médico-Cirúrgica (Regulamento 429/2018, 2018), a área de especialização em
Enfermagem à Pessoa em Situação Perioperatória tem como alvo de intervenção a pessoa e
família/pessoa significativa, que vivenciam uma experiência cirúrgica/anestésica.
No sentido de demonstrar o desenvolvimento do processo de pensamento e de tomada de
decisão clínica foram desenvolvidos dois casos clínicos. Estes estudos de caso pretendem
refletir uma tomada de decisão autónoma, reflexiva e baseada na melhor evidência disponível,
na área da assistência à pessoa em situação perioperatória.
O primeiro estudo de caso refere-se a uma cliente submetida a mastectomia parcial em
contexto de Unidade de Cirurgia de Ambulatório e que abrange as diferentes áreas de atuação:
pré-operatório, intra-operatório e pós-operatório. O segundo estudo de caso foi desenvolvido
em contexto de uma Unidade de Cuidados Pós-Anestésicos a uma cliente submetida a
uma artroscopia do ombro e descreve a abordagem orientada para a deteção precoce e a
prevenção de complicações pós-operatórias.
Neste documento fica explanado o percurso concretizado a partir de uma perspetiva crítica e
reflexiva do processo de aquisição e desenvolvimento das competências previstas para o
Enfermeiro Especialista em Enfermagem Médico-Cirúrgica à Pessoa em Situação Perioperatória,
tomando por referência a descrição das competências comuns e específicas preconizadas pela
Ordem dos Enfermeiros, com as atividades desenvolvidas nesse âmbito e a fundamentação
teórica que esteve na sua base.
This report aims to demonstrate the learning process obtained during the achieved of the Curricular Unit: “Internship of a professional nature with report - Module II” and part of the 1st Master Course in Medical-Surgical Nursing for people in a Perioperative situation at the Escola Superior de Enfermagem do Porto. The professional internship took place in two different settings of the perioperative area of a Hospital Centre, between February 6, and June 23 of 2023. In accordance with the regulation of the specific competencies for nurses specializing in Medical- Surgical Nursing (Regulation 429/2018, 2018), the specialisation area of Nursing for Individuals in Perioperative Situations targets individuals and their families/significant others undergoing surgical/anaesthetic experiences. In order to demonstrate the development of the thought process and clinical decision-making, two clinical case studies have been developed. These case studies aim to reflect autonomous, reflective decision-making grounded in the best available evidence within the field of medicalsurgical nursing, particularly within the realm of providing care to individuals in perioperative situations. The first case study pertains to a patient who underwent partial mastectomy in an outpatient surgery unit, covering different phases: pre-operative, intra-operative, and post-operative. The second case study was conducted within a Post-Anaesthetic Care Unit for a patient undergoing shoulder arthroscopy, focusing on an approach oriented toward early detection and prevention of postoperative complications. This document outlines the path undertaken from a critical and reflective perspective concerning the acquisition and development of competencies expected of a specialized nurse in Medical-Surgical Nursing for individuals in perioperative situations, drawing from the description of common and specific competencies recommended by the Ordem dos Enfermeiros, along with the activities undertaken within this scope and the theoretical foundation that underpins them
