O seguinte relatório enquadra-se no âmbito na Unidade Curricular Relatório, no qual é descrito o Estágio Final realizado na Unidade de Cuidados Intensivos Polivalente Geral e na Unidade de Cuidados Intensivos de Cardiotorácica.
Narra a criação e a implementação de uma Intervenção Profissional Major, através da metodologia de projeto numa dinâmica de investigação-ação, que pretendeu criar uma norma de orientação clínica para o controlo da temperatura no doente vítima de paragem cardiorrespiratória. Pois o controlo da temperatura constitui-se como uma ferramenta na promoção e / ou manutenção da integridade neurológica do doente vítima de paragem cardiorrespiratória. Constituindo um desafio para as unidades de cuidados diferenciados melhorar a sua atuação de forma a promover a recuperação do estado neurológico do doente evitando o mínimo de danos.
Termina com uma reflexão sobre todo o percurso realizado para a aquisição de competências de enfermeiro especialista e de Mestre em Enfermagem.
The following report is within the scope of the Curricular Unit Relatório, which describes the Curricular Unit Estágio Final held in the Intensive Care Units, one with general patients and the other with Cardiothoracic patients. It narrates the creation and implementation of a major professional intervention, through the design methodology in an action-research dynamic, which sought to create a clinical guideline for temperature control in patients suffering from cardiorespiratory arrest. Because temperature control is a tool in the promotion and / or maintenance of the neurological integrity of the patient suffering from cardiorespiratory arrest. It is a challenge for differentiated care units to improve their performance to promote recovery of the patient's neurological state, avoiding the minimum of damages. It finishes with a reflection on the whole course for the acquisition of skills of specialist nurse and of master in Nursing.
