O presente relatório advém da frequência do Curso de Mestrado em Enfermagem
Médico-Cirúrgica na área de Enfermagem à Pessoa em Situação Perioperatória. Comporta
as seguintes metas: evidenciar as competências comuns e específicas do Enfermeiro
Especialista; demonstrar a aquisição de competências de Mestre, através da sua apresentação
e discussão pública; e ilustrar o desenvolvimento de capacidades de reflexão crítica, bem
como raciocínio clínico acerca das situações vivenciadas nos diferentes contextos da prática.
O Ensino Clínico I “Cuidar em sala operatória” foi-me creditado pelo Conselho
Técnico-Científico da escola, considerando as competências adquiridas nos vinte e um anos
de labor no Bloco Operatório e Unidade de Cuidados Pós-Anestésicos do Hospital Dr. Nélio
Mendonça. A Unidade Curricular, “Estágio com Relatório”, contempla dois módulos de
prática: o módulo I, que decorreu na Unidade de Hemodinâmica, cujo objetivo geral foi
capacitar a pessoa e família para a gestão da experiência cirúrgica, em contexto de
ambulatório; e o módulo II - Opção Clínica, desenvolvido no serviço de Cirurgia da Mama
e Bloco Operatório do Hospital Dr. Nélio Mendonça. Esta escolha deveu-se ao meu interesse
pelo desenvolvimento de competências científicas, técnicas e relacionais no empoderamento
da pessoa/família com patologia da mama a vivenciar uma experiência cirúrgica, no período
perioperatório, promovendo um cuidar integral da pessoa/família.
O relatório enfatiza a aquisição e o alargamento das competências comuns e
específicas do Enfermeiro Especialista em Enfermagem Médico-Cirúrgica, na área de
Enfermagem à Pessoa em Situação Perioperatória: cuida da pessoa em situação
perioperatória e respetiva família/pessoa significativa, maximiza a segurança em contexto
cirúrgico e, igualmente, da equipa pluridisciplinar, em harmonia com a consciência
cirúrgica, rumo à aquisição das competências de Mestre.
Recorri à metodologia descritiva, analítica e reflexiva, sustentada na evidência
científica, de modo a espelhar a aplicação de conhecimentos, a análise das situações
vivenciadas, o pensamento crítico e reflexivo, assim como a experiência profissional.
This report is part of the Master's Degree Program in Medical-Surgical Nursing, in the area of Nursing for Persons in Perioperative Situation. Its objectives are to demonstrate the common and specific competencies of the specialist nurse; demonstrate the acquisition of master competencies through the presentation and public discussion of this report; to illustrate the development of the appropriate competencies that were gained from actual situations, in different practice areas, resulting in the development of critical thinking and reasoning. The Clinical Teaching I "Care in the Operating Room" was credit by the Technical- Scientific Council of the school, taking in consideration the competencies acquired during twenty-one years of professional practice in the Operating Room and Post-Aesthesis Care Unit of the Hospital Dr. Nélio Mendonça. The Curricular Unit "Internship with Report" includes two practice modules, Module I which took place in the Hemodynamic Unit and aimed to empower the person and family for the management of the surgical experience in an outpatient setting. Module II - Clinical Option, was developed in the Breast Surgery Service and Operating Room of the Hospital Dr. Nélio Mendonça. The choice was based on the interest in developing scientific, technical and relational skills in empowering the persons/families with breast pathology, to gain expertise in surgical environment during the perioperative period, to promote comprehensive care. This report emphasises the acquisition and development of the standard and specialised competencies of the Specialist Nurse in Medical-Surgical Nursing, specifically in the area of Nursing to Persons in Perioperative Situations. The areas covered included caring for the person in perioperative situations, their respective family/significant person and maximizing their safety and of the multidisciplinary team, in harmony with the surgical conscience. Towards the acquisition of master’s competencies I have used a descriptive, analytical and reflective methodology, supported by scientific evidence, reflecting the application of knowledge, analysis of actual situations, critical thinking and reasoning, including the application of all professional experience.
