A gestão de competências tem-se consolidado como uma prática essencial nas estratégias de
desenvolvimento organizacional, com o objetivo de alinhar as habilidades dos funcionários aos
objetivos estratégicos das empresas. Este estudo qualitativo visa avaliar a eficácia da matriz de
competências implementada na empresa em 2020, através das percepções dos diretores da
mesma. Utilizando, numa abordagem qualitativa, o método da análise de conteúdo, foram
exploradas as experiências e opiniões dos líderes da organização sobre a implementação, os
desafios enfrentados e os impactos na gestão de talentos. A análise dos dados revelou uma visão
detalhada das práticas e obstáculos associados à aplicação da matriz de competências,
oferecendo insights valiosos para o aprimoramento das estratégias de gestão. As conclusões do
estudo destacam a importância de uma abordagem contextualizada e adaptativa na
implementação de ferramentas de desenvolvimento organizacional, proporcionando
recomendações práticas para gestores e literatura académica.
