Os conteúdos digitais interativos são amplamente difundidos
atualmente e são consumidos por todas as faixas etárias,
incluindo crianças. Esses conteúdos são encontrados em
programas de televisão, na internet e em jogos, muitos dos
quais possuem elementos de storytelling. Embora a maioria dos
jogos disponíveis no mercado tenha como objetivo principal
entreter, poucos são projetados com o propósito de educar ou
transmitir conteúdos pedagógicos. Este trabalho tem como
objetivo destacar a importância dos jogos com storytelling no
ensino infantil, explorando a facilidade e eficácia da
aprendizagem quando utilizados como ferramentas
educacionais. Além disso, busca identificar os elementos
educacionais presentes nesses jogos e como eles podem ser
incorporados ou utilizados como base na criação de jogos
educacionais eficazes. Através de um framework, foram
avaliados três jogos com storytelling interativo, permitindo a
enumeração e exemplificação dos elementos educacionais
presentes neles. Também foram propostas melhorias para
torná-los mais adequados e eficazes na transmissão de
conteúdos úteis ao público infantil. Dessa forma, este trabalho
ressalta como os jogos com storytelling podem se tornar uma
ferramenta poderosa, já compreendida e adaptada pelas novas
gerações, para a transmissão de conhecimentos necessários e
importantes para a educação e o desenvolvimento infantil.
Interactive digital content is currently widespread and consumed by all age groups, including children. Such content is found in television programs, on the internet and in games, many of which have elements of storytelling. Although most games available on the market have the main objective of entertaining, few are designed with the purpose of educating or transmitting pedagogical content. This work aims to highlight the importance of games with storytelling in early childhood education, exploring the ease and effectiveness of learning when used as educational tools. In addition, it seeks to identify the educational elements present in these games and how they can be incorporated or used as a basis for creating effective educational games. Through a framework, three games with interactive storytelling were evaluated, allowing the enumeration and example of the educational elements present in them. Improvements were also proposed to make them more suitable and effective in transmitting useful content to children. This work highlights how games with storytelling can become a powerful tool, already understood and adapted by the new generations, for the transmission of necessary and important knowledge for education and child development.
