Este trabalho consiste no relato de uma experiência na utilização de um jogo para refletir na Família como Foco
dos Cuidados de Enfermagem em Meio Hospitalar. Cientes da importância da inclusão da família no contexto
de cuidados, foi planeado um programa educativo num grupo de duzentos enfermeiros de um hospital, com
a inclusão de um jogo. Esta estratégia fundamenta-se na crença da existência de uma relação entre o jogo e a
aprendizagem. O jogo causa prazer, interacção no grupo e desafia, permitindo a aprendizagem através da própria
descoberta e provocando curiosidade e pesquisa. O jogo intitulado Family Nursing Game tem como finalidade
o ensino sobre Enfermagem de Família, divulgando a implementação do Modelo de Calgary de Avaliação e
Intervenção em Família (MCAIF).
This paper reports an experiment in using a game to reflect on the Family as a Focus of Nursing in Hospital Environment. Realizing the importance of including the family in the context of care, an educational program was planned in a group of two hundred nurses of a hospital, with the inclusion of a game. This strategy is based on the belief of the existence of a relationship between play and learning. The game is pleasurable, promotes group interaction and challenges, enabling learning through self-discovery and provoking curiosity and research. The game entitled Family Nursing game aims to teach about Family Nursing, promoting the implementation of Model Calgary Family Assessment and Intervention (MCAIF).
