Numa
sociedade
que
se
quer
cada
vez
mais
sustentável,
construir
de
novo
não
é
a
melhor
solução.
É
necessário
a
adopção
de
uma
política
de
“errs”:
reabilitar,
restaurar,
reciclar,
reutilizar,
recuperar.
Assim,
e
atendendo
a
estes
princípios,
há
que
olhar
para
as
construções
existentes,
muitas
vezes
abandonadas/degradadas
e
pensar
nelas
como
novos
espaços,
com
ou
sem
mudança
de
uso.
Na
reconversão
de
edifícios
preserva-se
não
só
o
edifício,
mas
também
o
ambiente,
já
que
há
menos
emissões
poluentes
resultantes
dos
processos
de
fabrico
dos
materiais
quer
aos
produtos
de
demolição.
O
objectivo
principal
do
trabalho
consiste
em
analisar
a
capacidade
estrutural
da
estrutura
existente
da
galeria
do
edifício
do
Salão
de
Festas,
actualmente
interdito
ao
uso
e
propor
uma
eventual
solução
da
reparação.
Para
cumprir
com
esse
objectivo,
este
trabalho
passou
por
realizar
um
levantamento
do
estado
de
conservação
da
estrutura
em
estudo,
identificar
as
anomalias
que
possam
estar
na
origem
da
interdição
ao
seu
uso
e
propor
uma
solução
de
reabilitação
estrutural
que
permita
cumprir
a
legislação
em
vigor.
In a society that pretends to be sustainable, new construction is not a solution. It is necessary to adopt a policy of "errs": rehabilitate, restore, recycle, reuse, recover. Thus, and in view of these principles, the reuse of abandoned / degraded spaces converted in new ones, is paramount for the sustainability of our planet. The reuse of buildings not only preserves the building heritage, but also the environment, reducing emissions resulting from both the manufacturing processes of the materials and the demolition products. The main objective of the work is to analyze the structural capacity of the existing structure of the gallery of the building of the Salão de Festas, currently prohibited to use and propose a possible solution of the repair. In order to achieve this objective, this work has been carried out to carry out a survey of the conservation status of the structure under study, to identify the anomalies that may be the source of the prohibition of its use and to propose a structural rehabilitation solution to comply with the current legislation.
